Great views, very relaxing location. Enjoyed waking up and seeing the sun come up across the mountains. Good location to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge.

We loved our stay at the Baxter Family Farm House So quiet with great views of cows and mountains Good supplies Lived the fire pit and we used the long forks to roast marshmallows for s’mores highly recommended

Clean home, secluded with a beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay at The Baxter Farmhouse. It was clean and quiet, well stocked, with comfortable beds and beautiful furniture. It appears to be a well-done remodel of an older home, which we loved. It was nice to be away from the crowds and also close enough to the lake and to Sevierville activities that everything still seemed convenient. We recommend this stay!

Loved the farm!

It is so peaceful there! They have thought of everything--had so many goodies in the kitchen that I've never come across before. Even pet food and water bowels for the dog!

We enjoyed our 4 night stay. The home is secluded which offered us the tranquility we were looking for. To our surprise the home was decorated for the holidays and included a Christmas tree. This was great since celebrated Christmas here. The owner was very responsive

Lovely place

Just as it is described. Beautiful location that is peaceful and pretty. The house is very clean and has everything that you would need. It is far enough away from all the hustle and bustle yet close enough to everyplace you would want to go. The owners seem to be very nice and helpful. I can easily recommend this home for your family.

Feels like home!

This was the perfect place for a mountain Christmas vacation. From the time we arrived, my family and I felt right at home in this cozy and spacious home. It was the cutest place that was decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed our stay so much and everything was perfect. My absolute favorite was the mountain views we woke up to on Christmas morning. The hosts were so easy and helpful leading up to our stay. I would definitely come back to this home. Thank you for the perfect week!

Family Christmas trip

The house was perfect for our needs. Exactly as advertised. The Christmas decorations were fantastic! Everything was very well presented. The kitchen had almost everything we needed so we could prepare all of our meals at home. The owner was very responsive to text messages. It was a peaceful place out in farmland would definitely stay here again the only downside is the 20 to 25 minute drive to get to the city.

Awesome fall colors

Nice farmhouse that is close to everything but far enough away from everything to have a peaceful time in nature. Everything was great. Only suggestions from my party was possibly upgrading the mattresses on the beds. Not terrible though just not as comfortable as the setting.

We loved our stay at Baxter Farmhouse. And the host we especially nice and very helpful

My husband and I rented this place and we didn’t want in the thick of things with traffic and all in the Sevierville area. This house is less than 30 mins from there and very easy to get to without the mountain roads. Baxter Farmhouse is exactly how it’s described and the pictures don’t do it justice. We were able to sit on the deck in the morning and just enjoy the peace and quiet and relax. I highly recommend this house for those wanting a quiet place to relax but close enough to all the attractions.

We live in East Tennessee. We enjoy hosting our home and sharing with our guests all the different things to do in the area. Our favorite spots are Douglas Lake, Forbidden Caverns, River Tubing in Hartford, Great Smoking Mountain National Park and any and all the hiking trails.

Why they chose this property

The Baxter Farmhouse is a slice of heaven just outside of all the touristy hustle. The house is surrounded by pastures and woods and yet easy to access. There are no cliffs or winding roads. It sits on over an acre of land and there are no other houses blocking the view of English Mountain.

What makes this property unique

The Baxter Farmhouse feels secluded and yet it is not. The main road to the parkway is just 1/2 mile away. Our guests can easily go the back way into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge avoiding at lot of the Parkway traffic. Or they can choose to head the opposite direction and enjoy Douglas Lake or white water rafting and river tubing in Hartford.
