About this property
Tiger Lily Trails
Tiger Lily Trails is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath house on .56 acres of land in the gorgeous Fern Valley neighborhood of Idyllwild, CA. Up the street you'll find Idyllwild's most popular hiking trails at Humber Park.
The house features a single level widespread 2,100 sqft floor plan with separate sleeping areas, dining areas, and living room, and entertaining space. You can access the house through stairs or a concrete path and is about 2 miles from town.
There is NO cell reception at the house but we have high speed wifi and a house phone that you are welcome to use to make and receive calls within the US. As we are in a small mountain town, sometimes our wifi and power goes out but that is rare. This house is the perfect way to get semi-off the grid without giving up comfort or entertainment. We have two TVs in our common spaces with DVD/Blu-ray players at each, tons of board games, puzzles, and a large outdoor space to enjoy.

We had a great time here. The house was big, clean, with everything we needed. A lot windows and a great view to sunset. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We will go back to this place.
We traveled from LA with our friends to get away from the chaos of the city during the 4th of July. Tiger Lily Trails house was the perfect get away. It was VERY hot during our travel in Idyllwild while they were experiencing a heat wave but the house was nice and protected from the heat.
Once we got the AC going it cooled the house down so that it was comfortable for our group.
The house has many amenities and many areas to hang out.
Would stay again!
Stayed with 8 people, including kids, over the holiday weekend. Check in was very easy and the house is very nice. We enjoyed the beautiful fireplace, fantastic backyard, and well-stocked kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the neighborhood very quiet and peaceful. The house layout is a little quirky - two dining rooms, but that is pretty typical of Idyllwild houses. It's not a real cabin without being a little "different" in some way. The kids LOVED it because there was room to spread out and play games while the adults enjoyed tea and wine by the fire in a separate room. Overall, a great trip and a very nice place to stay. Would come back.

About the host
Hosted by Sarah Gipoor
I’m so happy to have you at my home and welcome to Idyllwild! As a first time home owner, I wanted a place that was peaceful and built for fun, especially in this great town. You see, my family has been in this town for generations. My grandma moved up here to raise her four children alone in the 60’s after my grandfather passed from heart failure at a young age. This community held her up and supported her while she raised four children on her own. I think she’d be proud of me if she could see me today, owning a home in this great town, and bringing more people to enjoy Idyllwild.
Speaking of which; Idyllwild has great hiking trails! At the top of Fern Valley Rd (just down the street) you can find some of the most popular hiking trails at Humber Park. Make sure to get your parking pass for Humber Park at the Ranger’s Station in town. We also have some great restaurants; my favorite is Ferro.
Why they chose this property
About our location: Tiger Lily Trails is located between town and Humber Park. If you turn right on Fern Valley Road, the road will end at Humber Park where you can access great hiking trails. Please make sure to get a parking pass from the Ranger’s Station in town before heading out for a hike in Humber Park. If you turn left on Fern Valley Road, you can head to town. If you’d like to walk to town, turn right out of the house on Rim Rock Road and follow directions to town that way - it’s not as steep that direction.
