Great holiday in Les Mathes

We had a great week. The communication beforehand and the welcoming and helpful reception by Valerie were excellent. The house and garden are beautiful and fully equipped. Everything was there for a lovely holiday, for all ages. We certainly hope to come back again!

Fabulous house for a family holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt that the house worked really well for everyone, including teens, grandparents and our dog. Communication with Valerie was very easy and we were met on arrival and shown round. The house has an extremely well equipped kitchen and the utility room with extra fridge was useful. The pool and large outdoor space are fantastic, well equipped and the garden is completely enclosed so great for our dog. Les Mathes is quite quiet but has an excellent food festival every Friday in Summer. We particularly liked the food markets and Praline & Bergamot patisserie in Tremblade, well worth a visit. Overall a great chilled out holiday and exactly what we needed!

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in dit prachtige huis. Het huis was werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien en had een grote tuin met hoge bomen waardoor er heerlijke schaduwplekken waren. Het zwembad was ruim, heerlijk op temperatuur en goed onderhouden. We hebben heerlijk kunnen koken en barbecueën doordat de keuken zeer goed uitgerust was.Het interieur is inmiddels geüpdatet en is nog mooier dan op de foto's op VRBO (zie bijgevoegde foto's). De ligging vonden wij zelf heel erg plezierig. Ontzettend veel privacy, geen geluidsoverlast van de naastgelegen camping en een goede uitvalsbasis voor de plaatsen in de omgeving.Het contact met de conciërge, Valérie, verliep ook heel plezierig. Helaas zien we de accommodatie (nog) niet op site staan voor 2026, maar we hopen hier terug te keren.

Maison très bien équipée, et spacieuse pour adultes et enfants, grand salon pour jouer et lire , grande table familiale pour les repas. Le jardin très grand pour jouer et la piscine chauffée un plaisir ! Prévoir les vélos pour les déplacements . Valérie très réceptive pour les questions et informations .

Ein gelungener Urlaub

Wir hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Das Wetter war etwas durchwachsen aber dankt beheiztem Pool, schönem Haus und diversen Spielsachen war das kein Problem. Ganz besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch die Concierge Valerié die überaus nett war! Sonderwünsche zum Zeitpunkt der An- und Abreise waren kein Problem. Und sie sprach sogar Englisch (wer häufiger in Frankreich Urlaub macht weiß das ist eine Besonderheit und wenn das eigene Französisch gerade mal reicht um einen Kaffee zu bestellen gibt es häufig Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten)!

Realität entspricht den abgebildeten Fotos. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist modern und gemütlich, was an Regentagen vorteilhaft ist. Vor allem die Ausstattung der Küche ist beeindruckend. Es gab nichts, was uns gefehlt hat. Die Vermieter und auch Valérie (Concierge) sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einziges kleines Manko, für Frankreich wahrscheinlich typisch: das Haus ist sehr hellhörig.

Fantastic Property

We have recently returned from a Two week stay at this beautiful property and all I can say is Wow! We stayed as a family of 12 with our children, Grandchildren, a couple of family friends, and 2 dogs. From the moment I made my first enquiry about the property, up until the end of our holiday, communication from the owner Monsieur Prunier was excellent. He was very quick in responding to any queries or questions I had, usually within the hour. On arrival we were met by Valerie, who explained everything and showed us around. The house was immaculate and the little touches of name tags on the towels, and flowers on arrival was lovely. The two dogs with us even had name tags on the dogs bowls. Two of our party had birthdays during our stay, and birthday cards were left for them from the owner. The kitchen was very well equipped with every utensil and appliance you could ever need. The best part for us was the amazing outdoor area and the pool, where we spent most of the time during the extremely hot weather. There was plenty for the children in our party to do, whether it was the pool with the supply of inflatables, or the wide selection of toys and games available for them to use. The bedrooms were spacious and had fans if needed for hot weather. We had a 10 month old baby in our party and the property was well equipped for babies, including travel cot, high chair, baby towels and bath toys. Other reviews have mentioned the other property in the grounds and the caravan park next door. The other property did share the driveway with us, but was totally separate and this wasn’t an issue for us. We also never heard any noise from the caravan park. The property is located in a very quiet area on the outskirts of the village of Les Mathes. You certainly need a car or bikes to get to the beach or the buzz of La Palmyre, but again this didn’t bother us as we enjoyed the tranquility of its location. There are a number of supermarkets which we used in the village of Arvert, which is only approximately a 5 minute drive. Overall, we loved this spacious property, we did have high expectations, and we weren’t disappointed. We would all certainly recommend a stay here.

Great place to stay with family and friends. Nice, clean and well-equipped with entertainment for both kids and adults incl. the private pool - ideal for a cozy vacation in private quiet surroundings. Highly recommendable and really enjoyed our stay

Tolles Haus

Der Urlaub hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Dem Haus fehlt es nichts an Ausstattung. Auf Mitteilung, dass ein Baby unplanmäßig mitkommt, wurde vom Vermieter ungefragt eine komplette Ausstattung parat gelegt. Hier kann man sich bedenkenlos wohlfühlen. Leider wurde bei unserem Aufenthalt auf dem Nachbargelände gebaut. Als wir die Vermieterin hierauf hingewiesen haben erfolgte umgehend eine Erstattung eines Teils der Miete verbunden mit Bemühungen den Lärm in Grenzen zu halten. Das Thema wird sich zukünftig ja erledigt haben. Wir können das Haus und Familie Prunier sehr empfehlen und werden gerne in 2 Jahren wiederkommen!

Un week end agréable grâce à une propriété splendide, des prestations idéales avec la piscine, le terrain de pétanque, le trampoline et la salle de sport et des équipements très fonctionnels !
