Large house for 8 people in a hamlet in Bugey: old-world charm with exposed beams, a Scandinavian stove, and stone walls. With its spacious living room, it's ideal for family gatherings or get-togethers with friends, as well as for sports enthusiasts or business events. On the garden side, in fine weather, a large veranda will host your family meals and offer a breathtaking view of the sunset reflected on the cliff. For your convenience, two single beds have been added to the three bedrooms—two double beds, two single beds, and a crib—on the mezzanine. Beds are made, towels and tea towels are included, and cleaning is included. You'll have two bathrooms, one with a whirlpool tub. The reversible heat pump is recent. Games, toys, and an electric piano are available. Enclosed garage for bicycles, your car, or motorcycles. A few bicycles are available. A picturesque 60-meter waterfall makes the hamlet of Glandieu famous. It's a great starting point for hiking. The cottage is just 10 minutes from the Viarhôna cycle path, accessible via a direct path. It's also a paragliding launch site above our hamlet. You're less than a quarter of an hour's drive from Walibi National Park. The house is on the Bugey tourist route. You'll discover its vineyards—Roussette, Mondeuse—and the typical villages of the Dauphiné region. You'll likely visit the Grand Colombier, which is famous for the Tour de France. Situated on the border of three departments, the Gîte de la Cascade is a central location for exploring the region's many lakes: Romagneu, Paladru, Ambléon, Aiguebelette, Vallée bleue, Le Bourget, and more. In fine weather, we'll point you in the direction of the many swimming and water sports spots. We highly recommend a visit to the historic and culturally significant Izieu, less than 10 minutes from the house.
