We really enjoyed our stay at this place and it was so spacious for just 2 people. The lake view was gorgeous. It was too cold to enjoy some of the amenities of the property but nonetheless I highly recommend and would stay here again.
Great view, especially the sunrise on the lake. Haley welcomed us and recommended excellent local restaurants. Lovely landscaping in a gated community. Relaxing approx one mile trail along the lake. Plenty of space for two adults. We would return to this property.

Exactly what we needed.
Reasonably priced, family oriented and a what a spectacular view. We will be back!
Lovely unit with a great view of Lake Tahoe. Comfortable and clean and close to Tahoe City. Could use some new pillows and a few simple staples like coffee and tea would be nice considering the cost of the unit, but overall we had a very nice stay.
Our family of three had a wonderful time at this cozy condo. Exactly as advertised. Clean, well-stocked, easy check-in, terrific communication with the property manager. 5 stars all the way. We can't wait to go back.
My husband and I have just returned from the most wonderful vacation in Lake Tahoe. Our stay in this cozy little apartment over looking the lake was nothing short of fabulous! The wooden beams, the fireplace, the well stocked kitchen and comfy bed and the most fantastic view made for such a great vacation. Thank you so much! We will absolutely return one day!
Great view and property! House is as promised in listing. Very quiet grounds! Kitchen was well supplied. Hot water does run out after 2 showers but was not a problem for us.
This is a very nice, clean condo and probably one of the best equipped we have stayed in. The kitchen in particular contained just about anything you would need, including spices. The only that you need to be sure to bring is shampoo. The view of the lake from the living/dining room is spectacular, and there is a spacious deck to enjoy it from as well. The condo complex was very quiet (we were there on a weekday) and just a short drive into Tahoe City. The bed was a little firm for our taste, but but not enough keep us from staying again. All in all, a great stay.
The view is spectacular! Everything you need for a cozy retreat. The bathrooms are a little dated but functional. It was rather chilly so we enjoyed the gas fireplace. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. We would definitely stay here again.
We love visiting Lake Tahoe and Chinquapin is absolutely beautiful. Our condo was very well stocked with everything we needed and very cozy. Can’t wait to return!
We had a fantastic time during our stay at this location. The images don’t do enough justice, and the place was super cozy and conveniently located. Has a great view of the lake as well, and had a great stay!
What a terrific place to stay on my annual Tahoe birthday retreat! The beautiful views from the open space living area practically bring the lake inside. (Don’t miss the sunrises and sunsets). The spacious, well-appointed condo has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Trails on the property help you connect with the environment (love the forest smells). I hope to return for a visit in the summer to enjoy the deck, pool and beaches. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here..
We rent a lot of vacation rentals and have high standards. This condo was superb in every way--the furnishings, the view, the quiet, secluded community with nice walking trails.
The owner and Packard Realty went out of their way to extend the deadline for payment (twice) due to the changing status of the Caldor fire. The air cleared, and we were able to enjoy a beautiful stay. Win-win for everybody.
This condo is a true gem, with great owner and agency.
The Property (Chinquepin) was great; the issue was uncontrollable, as the Forrest Fires created a dangerous air quality atmosphere, where you could not go outside, or see any of the views in the area; thus we cut our trip short by 2 days, and really did not get to see the beautifull Tahoe area. VRBO and Chinquepin were extremely satisfactory; they obviously can't control the Air quality for whatever reason. In discussions with a Tahoe native, one should visit Tahoe in June (if not a skier), instead of what the majority of visitors do (come in July and August---Forrest Fire season of late).
It is a beautiful property in a peaceful wooded setting along the banks of Lake Tahoe. The property has a spectacular view of the lake. We are looking forward to returning to this property in the future.
We love the property and access to the private beach and pool. The condo itself could use some upgrades but the view from the deck was so wonderful every morning. The master bed is very soft(old) and the bath towels are old and scratchy. The place was really hot in late June. They need to fix or install AC. They did have standing fans but the place never cooled off. We did not spend much time in the actual condo so it was a great launching pad for us to do fun things while in Tahoe.
This is an excellent lakefront property with access to swimming pools, tennis courts and private Tahoe beaches. I highly recommend it and we look forward to rebooking for next summer. Thank you, Gil!
Just got back after a wonderful 5 day stay here! I've been to Tahoe a few times last few years. But this property is the first one we loved so much that we're sure that we're coming back. Really clean, well stocked kitchen, great lake views, and great location w.r.t stores. Highly recommended.
