Great host,Had a great time. The lake in Lakeview were incredible. The only negative thing I can say is to drive up with a little scary to me.. My family and I would definitely rent this experience in cabin again. Five stars all the way.
Kitchen is well equiped, even spices were available. Pleanty of cleaning products. The wifi password is very catchy! Our host and hostess responded each time we reached out. This home made you feel at home! We will be back!
We stayed here for our wedding weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! The property was beautiful, spacious, and made the most special backdrop for such an important time in our lives. The hosts was incredibly kind and accommodating, making sure everything was just right for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience .Thank you for letting us create such wonderful memories here!
The house was great, located on a huge property with room to spread out and explore! We thoroughly loved all the extras the kitchen provided and the hot tub was perfectly placed on the deck just off the side bathroom for ease!
Very nice cabin and owner communication was great. I would stay her again and recommend it to anyone. One thing to note, if you are coming by boat, and plan on using the boat pier to keep your boat, the water is very shallow and the water level goes up and down.
We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely return. As a family of four, having our own space is important, and this home delivered. Each of us had our own bedroom, bathroom, and TV, which made the stay incredibly comfortable. The master suite was a standout, with a cozy reading nook surrounded by windows overlooking the water. It was the perfect place to relax in the mornings. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. It had all the essentials and more, including a toaster, coffee maker, griddle, and even basic spices. That level of preparation makes a big difference when traveling. The property itself is beautiful. Being right on the water made for peaceful morning and evening walks. We started calling it “turtle cove” because of how many turtles we saw sunbathing along the shoreline. We also made great use of the community dock when we rented a pontoon from a nearby marina, which added a lot to the experience.Even though we didn’t catch any fish, having tackle available was a thoughtful and hospitable touch. The internet was fast and reliable, which was helpful, and the owner was very responsive and professional with every question we had.The master bed was comfortable, the water stayed hot, the furniture was cozy, and the AC worked great throughout the stay.Overall, this is a well-maintained, thoughtfully equipped, and relaxing place to stay. Highly recommend.
The house was lovely and exactly what we need for a calm birthday celebration. The property, house, and even the drive in were lovely. We specifically got river front property so we could kayak. The kayak launch was right outside the house, but only useable later in the day when the water was higher. It wasn’t a big deal at all to walk around the yard to the community dock. I would highly recommend this property for the river access if that’s what you’re looking for.
Our stay at the property was wonderful and relaxing. The home was lovely and views are beautiful, but the home could have been cleaner. Whoever has been doing the cleaning has not been doing a very good job, and its a shame
In 2020, my family and I visited the same area in TN and my kids absolutely loved it there. Recently, they mentioned that they'd like to visit again, so we found this charming stay with breathtaking views that accommodated all of us - my two kids and three of their friends. The space was ample, allowing us to roam comfortably. Since we didn't require immediate access to the city, the peacefulness of the area was perfect. Charla, the owner, was very accommodating and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this place and we are already looking forward to our next visit.
What a beautiful place! My family, including in laws and 3 older children stayed here for a week. Plenty of room inside, and the furnishings were lovely and comfortable. Kitchen is large and updated, AC is cold, and there are plenty of towels. Porch is perfect for a quiet cup of coffee with the sunrise. The yard is so fun— a footbridge down to the river where you can swim and fish. Friendly ducks came by to say hi, and we watched fireflies at night. A fire pit is there to enjoy s’mores at night. The road to the cabin is right through the forest and does have twists and turns, with a steep driveway. Our minivan handled it with no problem, though. The owners and very responsive and friendly. We highly recommend this great spot!
We just left this house, I have to say I read reviews and was nervous about stuff being there so we took a ton based on one review. I have to say that had to be awhile ago because we had everything we needed! They even had a cabinet that had basic spices, flour, sugar, etc! They had a crockpot which my sister did use! The only one thing I would maybe bring would be a large pot to boil in if maybe you were doing a pot o chili or something. We had an age range 5-64. This place is truly a place to get away! Internet is great! TVs worked! Canoe available! Do take their advice and get everything you may need before you arrive, closest Walmart is about 35 minutes away, very close, but roads take a bit to travel on! Book this place for a true family vacation!

Beautiful place
This place is beautiful and a killer location right on the river, however there were a few issues we had while staying. The first was the cleanliness of the house. It wasn't terrible but it needed a deeper clean before we arrived. It seemed to have not been swept and there were fingernail clippings on the floor.
The other issues were mostly that the house was bare bones. There were no trash bags, no coffee filters, no soap in any showers, among other things that were listed as being included but were not there. Contacted host and they helped me try to look for all that was missing but wasn't able to find anything. Would be a great place just needs a little more attention.
