We unfortunately were in Wrightwood during the disaster. The chalet was wonderful and the owner was even better. She was checking on us and offering her emergency supplies if needed. Fortunately, the chalet was in no immediate danger. Thank you for all you did for us and sharing your wonderful chalet.

Wonderful mountain retreat

We had a fantastic few days at the Chalet. The location was perfect, right between town and Mt. High. Well stocked and comfortable, quiet, nestled in the beautiful forest.

Wonderful stay

The place is closed enough to the ski resort. The house was clean and spacious. Sandra was on point for everything we asked. We really enjoyed our stay there with the kids.

Loving Wrightwood

this was a great house for our family - the yard had plenty of space to play in the snow, it's very close to mountain high where we spent a couple of days snowboarding, it's in a lovely area. kids are already asking when we can go back!

Our family of three spent three nights at the beautiful property with our two cats and loved it! The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, everything worked well, and the snowy views from the large windows were beautiful! We were able to walk into town (about a half hour walk) which was great. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Loved this location and surrounding neighborhood. Mountain High is a few minutes drive away, as is the grocery store and main street. Check in and check out were super easy. Plenty of amenities at the house made the stay even better. We loved playing cards and checkers.

Sandra was a wonderful host, she was communicative and helpful and an all around joy to interact with. She went above and beyond (in the face of a historic snowstorm no less!) to make sure the house was in great shape for our stay and I'd recommend her house to anyone looking for a trip away into the mountains!

We came in December with 3 adults and 2 kids. The home was easy to heat up and had everything we needed. We enjoyed being so close to Wrightwood’s little village and Mountain High. The owner communicated easily with us and we had no issues. We would definitely come again!

Awesome Property

If you are looking for a get-away this is the place for you. Great location, close to town and Mountain High. Peaceful neighborhood. The property is completely enclosed so the kids can play with no worries for you. Owner is so easy to communicate with, and has the chalet well stocked for you. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and it was perfect for us.

I grew up on the south side of the San Gabriel Mountains and fell in love with hiking. After moving to the north side of the mountains, it was always a dream of mine to own a vacation home in Wrightwood. The chalet is more that I could have hoped for and I love hosting and sharing it with family and friends.

Why they chose this property

This property is really unique for Wrightwood. It is on a large corner lot with a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. It has a long, level driveway that fit several cars. It's only 1 mile from town and the closest neighborhood to Mt. High.

What makes this property unique

Really easy parking and access to Hwy 2 and Mt. High. This neighborhood is super quiet with very little traffic. There's a walking/biking trail to the village. The attached, elevated deck is a really cool place to hang out, feed the bluejays, BBQ, watch the sun set and stargaze. The house itself is just plain magical and fun. You can sit by the fireplace and read a book or enjoy our high speed internet, cable and smart tvs for entertainment.
