All Pine Inn - Large 4bd/2ba - just steps to the village
Upon entering the service entrance on the lowest level of this three story Bavarian style home, the long counter and full-sized washer/dryer, absorbs the days wear. Upstairs, floor to ceiling windows let nature pour in to this 3-level, 2000 sq ft home with designer furnishings. Grab the remote or throw on a fire log, as the C-sectional sofa places the Swedish fireplace and TV w/ hi-speed internet in view of every seat, including the country style dining table, which is just off the fully-equipped kitchen with custom concrete counters. Located a mere stone’s throw from the downtown Wrightwood village, each of the four bedrooms has a California King bed, even the kids room (with toys and games, and videos/TV). Hi-speed internet is provided. Easily sleeps 10, which includes downstairs family room (with wet bar, big screen, and pool table) by utilizing the two double bed futon sofa sleepers. We loved having all the space for our family! The pool table and TV downstairs was great for all of us to hang out together and the beds were very comfortable!

Happy to hear you enjoyed your stay! We too love how close the bars and rest are. Love Having a craft beer at sunset at that Small brewery just steps from the cabin!
Communication and flexibility with Barbara was great. The house is rustic and dated, but a very reasonable price. The house is in a wonderful location—about 10 mins drive from Mountain High or a sledding area and walking distance to Wrightwood with a pizzza place, a market, brewery, cute restaurants and shops. I would not recommend this home for kids under 5 because of the open staircase and bannister with wide slats.

Nice getaway in roomy home with nice big bedrooms.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the All Pine Inn. The only issues... older TV's, only one coffee cup and no garbage cans on site to dispose of accumulated garbage. On yeah... I lost in pool because their was no chalk for cue stick :)
Owner was very responsive and accommodated all requests. Don't hesitate... nice downtown location in a neat little SoCal town.

Thank you for your feedback! I wanted to let you know that there are at least 8 coffee cups provided in the cupboard. Perhaps there was a load of them being washed in the dishwasher? Also, I am pretty specific in the instructions where our outside trash receptacles are (around the side of the house). We are looking to replace some of the older TV's and I will be sure to have chalk available for the pool table (easy fix!).
Thank you again,
Barbara
My extended family had a wonderful time over a weekend in mid Feb. We used the pool table (felt is in good condition & level) and large TV in the downstairs game room several times. Kitchen is well stocked with tools for any meal, including the deck grill. Bedrooms are large with comfortable beds & pillows. Wifi is fast enough and reliable, even with several devices connected.
The external fireplace is a nice touch for heating & ambiance, however only premade firelogs are allowed. The heater works well throughout the whole house. There are lots of windows on the main floor to view the front & side. We happened to be there for a large snowstorm which was fascinating to watch. The front downstairs door is locked by keypad so no key necessary...very useful for multiple people.
Location is very convenient. This was our first trip to Wrightwood and we were pleasantly surprised at how close the house is to the town. There's a pizza place two doors down and a brewery just around the corner. Everything's in walking distance.
Tips:
- Main level shower pressure is very low so add some time to your shower.
- If you're there in the winter, be prepared to shovel the driveway exit if it snows (shovel provided). They apparently use a service to clear the driveway but timing is variable.
- They have a coffee pot but no Keurig. There was half a bag of coffee but not sure if this was from the previous renter. Bring your own ground coffee.
A very fun experience for the whole family!
Welcoming! Comfortable and homey. Had everything we needed and more...Close to everything. Beautiful and quiet community. Just what we were looking for!!!
Great for large groups but, place was poorly supplied and in a bit of disrepair.

Donna, I would like to know how you felt the cabin was not supplied to your liking. Everything that we list as supplied on the website is accurate. I am not sure what is meant by disrepair, however you did stay during our busiest time of year when we have back to back bookings and the cabin does during this time take a bit of a beating.
The cabin was as described. Lots of games and plenty of space.
We did run out of toliet paper, so it was a good thing my sister in law had brought one.
It was nice that the kitchen had so many items(spices ,can opener, papertowels, dishes, coffee maker, blender, toaster, crockpot, etc.).
The instructions on website vs what was sent to me had us a little confused. We paid cleaning fee, so was not sure how much cleaning we were required to do (we left house clean just in case, but did not vacuum) and some of the instructions said yes linens, another thing said no...but there were sheets ,blankets, towels etc. We brought our own, because we were not sure.
Overall it is a nice older cabin...looks just like pictures- no surprises. We will book again in future.

Felt cheated. Missled. Shorted.
Bedroom doors needed to be wiped down, vent above stove was gross, frying pans should be thrown away, No trash cans on the property, trash compactor old and broken couldn't open, not suitable for handicap or small children or senor citizens. Broke down truck in the driveway gives the neighborhood a trashy look. They give rules and regulations like its a beautiful vacation rental but its a dump! Was very disappointed. Still haven't received my deposit back.
Great location and plenty of room for our family! A little disappointed there was food residuals in the refrigerator and an open bag of ice and melted chocolate in the freezer. We brought our own paper plates and utensils but used coffee mugs which had TZt thgt to tree trTET
This property was just as it was advertised , great location near all amenities downtown plenty of room ,4 full bedrooms . Great location , bottom floor pool table , game room was awesome . The host was excellent in communication . We will be back ! Btw the snow storm was amazing !

Felipe, Thank you so much for your kind words! Glad you enjoyed your stay and consider our home the "perfect cabin" for you and your family. We hope to host you again in the future!! - Barbara
I've never had to make our beds upon arrival this was always done but not here. Coffee maker took 3 hours to make a pot of coffee so we bought one. Kitchen could use some TLC.
on the bright side location was perfect and bedrooms are large and roomy.

About the host
Hosted by Barbara & Raoul Piette
Taking the road-less-traveled (while returning from a high desert business meeting) meant encountering a sign stating that Wrightwood was seven miles – that-away. Childhood memories made turning my back on civilization a no-brainer. One slowly rising bend led to another, as desert chaparral became turned to scrub oaks, before giving way to age old towering pines and majestic oaks. The small town charm of kids walking to school along streets with no lights was irresistible. Nestled amongst the surrounding National Forest, yet minutes to the ski resort, were homes of various distinctive character, built over the last 100 years. Being in a National Forest means houses get rebuilt, not malls constructed. What began as a great place to grow apples, is now the gateway to four seasons of sublime activities. And Wrightwood is so accessible, just an hour to the Big A. So funds planned for investment into senior condos, instead became a labor of love - in owning and sharing the mountains as a getaway to renew the core of you. So what was once a newlywed investment, three kids later, has become a lifetime of family memories - spread across multiple homes. There is so much to see and do that’s different at elevation. People unplug, literally, and thereby recharge themselves. But we can’t be here every week. So we take pride in maintaining and upgrading each home, to make better memories for our guests.
