The unit has an amazing location — truly hard to beat. You’re close to everything: grocery stores, the metro, boulangeries, and plenty of restaurants. For convenience, it doesn’t get better.
That said, the unit needs several repairs. The toilet seat is loose, the shower drain doesn’t drain properly, and the bathroom sink is extremely small with barely any space even for soap. The sofa bed is literally falling apart, which made it unusable. There is also no air conditioning, which was very difficult during a heat wave.
Noise can be an issue if you’re a light sleeper. Garbage trucks come through between 5:30–7:00 AM, and the hotel across the street has people coming and going, often chatting or smoking outside, which can get loud.
For the price per night, the unit feels like it could use more care. It looks clean at first glance, but wiping the floor even lightly turns the rag black. The washroom being right next to the kitchen also isn’t ideal, as smells mix and it doesn’t give a very clean feeling.
Overall, it’s a good place in a fantastic location, but in my opinion not worth the current price until some improvements are made.
