Great place, located right down the street from my son‘s wedding. The only slight issue is I was supposed to receive check in information 72 hours prior and I didn’t get it til 24 hours before so that was a little nerve racking but it turned out to be fine
Took the hubby away for the weekend for his birthday we enjoyed our stay! House had everything you need to host was very nice! I think it would be even better in the summer time they had all the accommodations you can ask for with the lake jealous I didn't get to try them out way too cold in October but still nice and relaxing and beautiful sights
We were in town not to enjoy the lake or the beautiful hot tub but I could definitely recommend this property for those activities. It is a nice house with everything you would need. We just slept and showered and were very pleased.
Everything was as advertised, but anyone staying there should be aware that there are two roosters next door that start crowing at 4 am and continue basically nonstop until 7 am. Best thing about the location is the Sand Lake Grocery (walking distance). Their ice cream is delicious and you can get a 3.5 POUND dish for less than $7.
What an amazing find!
We stayed in the Farm House - clean, spacious and absolutely everything you could need. The MANY lake amenities were so nice to have!
Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us!
We will be back next summer!
Jennifer & Stephen are great hosts. All questions were answered promptly. The farm house was very clean and nicely appointed with newer appliances, a good supply of fresh linens and lots of nice touches for any group that chooses to stay there. The beach and docks were great! We loved the boats, fire pit and just chilling by the lake. We would like it noted that this particular unit is right on the highway and the neighbor has two roosters and 6 dogs. So at night and starting at daybreak, it was difficult to sleep. This was somewhat muffled indoors, but all of our group was up early every day as a result. Jennifer & Stephen have no control over this situation and apparently plan to build a privacy wall in the future. All in all, a very nice place to stay.
the farmhouse is great for any vacation stay. While we only stayed a couple of days everything we needed was there. Our mom now lives with us in Ohio but has several family members still living in OH . She has missed her family and so for her 90th birthday owe wanted to have a place where family could visit and wish her a Happy Birthday. Being able to see family brought tears to her eyes and everyone commented on how wonderful the place was and it was definitely everything it was listed to be. I would recommend this property to everyone
Stephan and I bought the property in 2021 with the hopes of our blended family of 7 having a place to enjoy Michigan summers. We live in Kalamazoo but enjoy our time we get to spend at the lake!
