We had a wonderful stay at Stargazer. It is a comfortable house with a well supplied kitchen. There is a dishwasher. The coffee maker is a flexbrew, so bring your favorite pods (I recommend Maxwell House - seriously, just try it!) or ground coffee for a whole pot. The beds are firm and supportive, perfect in my opinion - and not memory foam, thankfully! We didn't try the pullouts in the couches, but the couches are comfy. The living room is a great size for visiting with plenty of seating. Outside, we enjoyed the paddle boat, kayaks, and fire pit. Matteson lake is quiet and peaceful.
Because I am disabled, I want to highlight accessibility. I use a walker and sometimes a wheelchair. The newly finished sidewalk and parking were very nice and made it easier to get in and out of the house. There is one step up into the kitchen and one step down to the living room. I asked about this ahead of time - one step is doable for me. There are hard floors throughout the house with easy transitions. In the bedroom, we moved the bed to the wall to make room for my walker. The door to the bedroom is narrow, but my walker collapses vertically to get through smaller doorways (a smaller aluminum walker would fit). The bathroom is too small for my rollator walker, but the sink (and long arms) made a good hand hold, so that was not an issue. I travel with a shower chair and an aluminum walker.
