Perfect Place in Carlsbad

Loved this place, and Donny was a great host. Everything matched the listing, it’s exactly what you need, not too much and not too little. Would stay again!

Great base camp for a weekend in the desert

Stayed overnight while exploring the two nearby National Parks. Location is great as a place to recuperate after a long day of hiking (go visit the Guadalupe Brewery in Carlsbad if it’s open).

Great base for seeing two US National Parks

This property is as advertised on VRBO. We rented it for its proximity to the Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Park. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet neighborhood.

Great little place

Nice, small older home with lots of character. An iron and ironing board would have been welcomed. Travelers live out of luggage, which famously produces wrinkles in everything. Great place to stay and the bed is super comfortable!

Dennis, Thank you for your feedback and it was certainly a pleasure to meet you in person. Hoping you had a successful class reunion! I do provide a steam iron that would of been sitting on the shelf where all the laundry items are sitting. Perhaps you missed it? I do not have an ironing board there, but will certainly take your advice in getting one. Thank you again for selecting our home for your stay during your visit to Carlsbad. Please come back again soon! Best regards, Donny Martinez

Spring Break Getaway

My husband and I stayed a few nights as part of a roadtrip to see Guadalupe Mountains and Carlsbad Cavern. It was a great spot to rest up after our hikes. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some meals. The bed was comfy and much needed for a good night’s sleep. Quiet location and close to restaurants and grocery stores. Great stay!

Clean and cozy

Very comfortable and clean. The layout was great for two people, and the bed so comfortable after a day of exploring the Caverns. Appreciated the water and chocolate, and the availability of neccesities.

A Nice Stay

Our host was organized, professional, welcoming and helpful. My husband I stayed three nights for a Carlsbad Thanksgiving visit. Our place was clean, comfortable, quiet, and close to our family. The kitchen was helpful for prepping a couple of dishes. We would return here for our annual Carlsbad Thanksgiving.
