Relaxation awaits you! Welcome to our secluded Mountain Chalet that borders Pike National Forest including views of Pikes Peak & Turkey Rock as a backdrop. Sitting on almost 2 acres, you can enjoy the tranquility with family and friends, even hiking or hunting right outside the door as we border Pike National Forest. Outdoor adventure awaits you as this cabin is in the heart of recreation. This Woodland Park chalet offers a relaxing getaway near hiking trails, over 500 mi. Of ATV trails, fishing, hunting, rock climbing, Pike National Forest, and several other local attractions. Please be aware that our cabin is located in a remote area/ mountainous environment and winter driving conditions may exist. All wheel drive vehicles are recommended during winter months (October - April). 6 miles of dirt road to get to our remote / excluded property.

Full size appliances (range, refrigerator,dishwasher, coffee maker- Keurig, toaster and microwave). - Dining Table - Full Size Washer & Dryer - Wood Stove - charcoal Grill, charcoal & lighter fluid is the responsibility of the guest - Private Deck Overlooking Pikes Peak - Outdoor Seating - driveway parking- Outside smoking is permitted. All of Colorado has a high fire potential. The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:

Load the dishwasher

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

You do not need to strip the beds just pull back the covers.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

See renters book or check in email for check out procedures. There will be $100 penalty fee for early check in with out approval.

Garbage day is on Thursday morning, please have the trash out to the end of the driveway by Wednesday evening.

Please pick up after your pet in our yard / driveway. No pets are allowed on the furniture.

We purchased this property as we love the beauty of Colorado and the views this chalet has to offer and the selection of close by outdoor activities. It is a great place to visit any time of year. It is great for the hunter, hiker, outdoor enthusiast!

What makes this property unique

If you want peace and quiet and relaxing vacation....this is for you! We do have wifi, this is the place to enjoy a view. You also have hiking or hunting directly out our back door in Pike National Forest and Turkey Rock! You will need a car and we recommend a truck or SUV especially in the wintertime that is 4X4 or AWD as some of the roads can be more difficult to navigate without 4X4.
