This was the most straightforward and easy process ever
Everything about this stay was 10/10. The property manager Erik was beyond respectful and polite. He really went above and beyond. He made sure my icy steps and sidewalk were always salted, my trash was always taken out on trash day, he was always very responsive and easy to get ahold of and so much more. I could tell he really cares about his job and never made me feel like a bother if I had to call or text him for any reason. He was always truly happy to help. The booking process was very easy and straightforward. The owner was very polite and happy to answer any questions I had. Everything was very clean inside and it already had everything I needed. I felt safe staying here and it’s in a beautiful part of town right on the water. I can’t think of any problems I had during my stay or any downsides.

Not quite ready for a Vacation Rental
Typically when I am looking for a vacation rental I am not looking for a "home away from home", I am looking for a better than home away from home. Upon arrival it was difficult to see that I had the correct address due to the low hanging trees that obscure the front of the house, the landscaping is in dire need of some TLC, the trees on the side of the house drop some sort of berries on the walkway which in turn gets tracked into the house, the front porch area is dusty and dirty with peeling paint everywhere and does not have an inviting appeal to it, the front doors themselves add a unique aspect to the home but are also in dire need of TLC. The rugs are dirty, stained, and look like they haven't been vacuumed in weeks, excess paint was never cleaned off of the wonderful woodwork that is everywhere, the windows are dirty and full of cobwebs, and the big padlocks hanging from doors make one question the security of the building. The listing stated that it sleeps five. It does not, unless someone is sleeping on the floor. The full size stove/oven is a plus for anyone staying long term that needs to cook, but there was only one frying pan to cook with and it wasn't oven safe. No pots to boil water or pans to cook anything in the oven. Also missing was a dish strainer and dish towels for washing dishes. While the provided cooking utensils were nice to have the dollar store quality was not. I couldn't open a can completely with the can opener. The laundry area is not only dark, dank, and dirty, it was flooded when I went to use it. And there was no rain at all during that time so that means the water was coming from within the house somewhere. The machines were also filthy.
I left this and other detailed information for the host and hopefully it will be used to turn this rental property into something stellar. But as it is right now I can't recommend it to anyone.
My stay was very comfortable. The location was perfect for my commute. Rajesh was always willing to help me with anything I needed, enjoyed my stay
