Loved the view while rocking on the back porch . My ONLY concern was the step down at the front and back doors . We are elderly and had to watch our step Wonderful neighbors and very nice and well kept neighborhood . Hope to come back again
Loved that this cabin was on the river. We sat on the back porch and enjoyed the view while my grandson fished. I brought up a couple of potential upgrades that could possibly be done to improve the cabin but all of our needs/expectations were met. The host was super nice and reached out to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We would definitely come back to enjoy this place again.
We had a fantastic relaxing stay here. The owner was very attentive to whatever we needed. The river was so relaxing to just sit and listen to and watch.
Nice neighborhood right out of hiaawasee gaClean nice interior Big porch overlooking the riverNice swing on front porch Had a relaxing vacation K austin
Comfortable and roomy cabin, everything we needed for a nice 3 night getaway in northern Georgia's mountains. Plenty of hikes and waterfalls to explore close by the house even in the “winter” season. Karen was an attentive host!
We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful location. We specifically went to fly fish and it did not disappoint. We all had a wonderful time and we all caught fish. As we are catch and release fishers, we had no problem following the HOA rules. Also, the neighbors were friendly and non intrusive. Further, the beds were amazing. The water pressure in the showers was strong and relaxing and the kitchen was stocked with all the cooking tools you would need to make a meal big or small. The outdoor grill was also well kept and usable. The house is also conveniently located near enough to the town, Hiawasse, that any food shopping, gas, fishing supplies, or other that you didn’t feel deprived if you forgot something from home. Our favorite part, being able to step off the back porch and fish. We loved that. There was no relocating to go fish. It was right there. Lastly, if there was anything we would say was negative, it would be the size of the toilets. Lol. I know, it’s a funny thing to point out, but we are tall folks. There was a lack of knee room between the bowl and the bathroom sink counters. For 6,3’ that was not so comfortable, especially for the men. HOWEVER!! It was not a deal breaker or a problem that could not be over come. We would absolutely stay here again. And we would absolutely recommend it to friends and other looking for the perfect place to fly fish.
We had 5 adults and a small child all meet up for the Thanksgiving week. This property is in a neighborhood but the properties are spacious so you still felt somewhat secluded with the comfort of knowing other people are close by and all the neighbors we met were SO friendly! We were able to take in the nearby hikes/sights as well as other nearby towns and still make it back for a fire and relaxing on the front or back porch.
