It is an old mill, converted into a holiday home, with old stone walls. It has retained some of its original features, such as the traditional cotta floors. Cosiness exudes harmony. The house offers privacy and homely ambience with 2 terraces (40 m2), on which you can enjoy the view of Diano Castello and Diano Marina. There is a private garden. The house consists of 2 floors with 3 bedrooms (all with double beds that can be put separately) and 2 bathrooms, which are complemented by living room, dining room, open studio (1 sofa bed) and kitchen. Completely furnished. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, coffee machine etc. Washing machine and grill are available.
Bed linen and towels on request (extra cost). There are two private parking spaces.
The house is located in the middle of the olive groves of Diano San Pietro. In harmony with nature and Meernach (the coast is 3 km). Ideal for those looking for cozy and relaxing accommodation in a beautiful location between Nice and Genova with a selection of cultural, culinary and sporting activities. Wunderschönes italienisches Haus abseits des Trubels

Wir waren Anfang Juni in dieser wunderschönen Öl Mühle. Das Haus verfügt über 2 große Terassen und einen Außenbereich, mit mehreren Zitronenbäumen. Außerdem ist es in Besitz von zwei Parkplätzen. Die Straßen zu dem Haus sind sehr eng, d.h. man sollte sein Auto gut kennen. Die 3 Schlafzimmer sind groß und jeweils für 2 Personen geeignet, allerdings gibt es nur Kissen und keine Daunendecken, auch bei der Ankunft waren die zwei ZImmer im unteren Stockwerk sehr stickig und es hat etwas muffig gerochen, so als ob lange niemand mehr da war. Auch die Betten waren immer jeweils 2 Einzelbetten, welche aneinandergeschoben waren und nachts auseinandergerutscht sind. Der Boden des Hauses war sehr staubig, wenn man Barfuß oder in Socken gelaufen ist waren diese im Anschluss dreckig. Ansonsten waren Küche und Badezimmer, aber sehr sauber. Wer es gerne abseits des Trubels hat und sehen möchte wie die Italiener leben ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben unseren Urlaub genoßen und würden wieder kommen, denn über die obengenannten Punkte kann man gut hinweg sehen, wenn man Lage, Aussicht, Fläche und Preis beachtet.

charmantes Landhaus mit Meerblick

Wir haben uns in dem stilvoll eingerichteten Landhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gab reichlich Platz und Rückzugsorte, was gerade mit Teenagern sehr angenehm war. Die Aussicht von den drei Terrassen war wirklich toll. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Wer alte Häuser mit Geschichte mag wird dieses lieben. Eine gewisse Toleranz gegenüber Altbautücken und Mücken sollte man allerdings mitbringen. Da das Haus im Hinterland an einem recht steilen Berg liegt, braucht man auf jeden Fall ein Auto/Motorrad/Vespa, um zum Strand und ins Städtchen zu kommen. Wir haben aber auch viele Mountainbiker gesehen. Diano Marina ist ein sehr hübsches Städtchen, mit vielen charmanten alten Häusern, Promenade und Fußgängerzone. Es gibt kostenfreie Parkplätze in Fußnähe zum Strand. Wer gerne den ganzen Tag am Strand verbringt sollte den Tipp der Vermieterin beherzigen und vorab ein Strandhäuschen bzw. Liegeplatz buchen. Wir haben das nicht gemacht und mussten meist eine Weile suchen bzw. uns irgendwo auf den wenigen freien Stränden dazwischenquetschen. Der Strand ist aber recht schön, feiner Sandstrand. Wenn man erst gegen späteren Nachmittag kommt findet man eher einen Platz. Wir haben schöne Ausflüge gemacht und wären gerne noch länger geblieben.

Situation idéale avec vu magnifique Maison ancienne (salle à notre arrivée, ménage remboursé par la propriétaire) mais pleine de charme avec aussi des disfonctionnements (four, eau...) une literie médiocre ! Malgré ces désagréments nous avons passé un super séjour

Charmante location

Nous avons tous passé une très agréable semaine des ados aux grand parents en alternant plages et visites de jolis villages. Terrasse avec vue splendide et maison très fascinante. Problème des moustiques gérable avec les moyens fournis par la location. Chambre du haut un peu chaude. Pour les plages on conseille Cervo, plages libres propres et bien équipés et charmante vue sur un typique village de Ligure.

Une vue magnifique

Agréable maison ancienne aménagée avec goût. On ne se lasse pas de la vue depuis la terrasse principale. Nous avons apprécié la combinaison entre la côte avec son animation et les plages, les chemins dans les oliveraies et les villages juchés sur les collines avec leurs ruelles escarpées et de magnifiques paysages

Tolle Tage in einer Öhlmühle

Die Lage, die Aussicht der Terrassen sind spektakulär. Die Weitläufigkeit des Hauses ist großartig. Die Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus sind ausgesprochen praktisch. Ein direkter Fußweg nach diano san pietro und weiter nach diano castello ist einfach wunderschön. Wir hätten uns mehr Moskitoschutz gewünscht und waren etwas irritiert über das Abschalten der Wasserversorgung an den beiden letzten Tagen zwischen 23.00 und 6.00 Uhr. Insgesamt haben wir uns aber sehr wohlgefühlt.

Traditional house with terrace view on valley

Our family of 4 really liked this big, traditional house (!) with a big terrace (!!) overlooking a lovely green valley with a view on the nearby village. That is to us a lot of value for a (at the time of writing) very reasonable price. Normally I’m quite sceptical of pictures of houses uploaded by owners, but in this case the pictures - in particular the one of the terrace view of the valley - does not do it justice; i guess it is difficult to capture the wide view of the valley in a picture. Also, while the house is on an inland hill it does not feel remote - there are nearby houses and you can even see the sea for the terrace, albeit in the far distance. The only negative are the mosquitos but that has applied to nearly all the houses that we have rented in Liguria over the past years. I would have prefered all windows (instead of just one) to have insect screens but maybe that is a cultural thing. In short, definately recommended.

Quiet house with ocean view

The house is located in Diano San Pietro on a hill at about 5 km away from the ocean. The railway station of Diano is about 10 min drive away. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms in the house, so there is enough space for up to 6 adults (there is one extra bed for an infant). One of the bathrooms though is part of the bedroom in the second floor and therefore can only be reached by walking across the room. There is a terrace on each floor of the house, so you have many possiblities to sit and relax, get some sun or eat outside. The place is really quiet and you can enjoy an excellent view. There is no bus up the hill, so you better bring a car, scooter or bike. You can also rent a scooter or an (e-)bike in the village of Diano Marina (for a scooter you should make a reservation early enough). The landlady ,Helene, is totally straightforward and easy. She gave us detailled information about the house in advance (e.g. concerning the equipement of the kitchen), which made packing easier. For some extra payment Helene provides towels and bedlinen. Diano San Pietro is a small and quiet village. In case you want to do broad shopping or eat in a restaurant, you can find many shops, supermarkets and restaurants in Diano Marina. Some nice public beaches are located in San Bartolomeo Al Mare or nearby Imperia. If you are looking for a spacious and private place (and do not mind, that it is located a bit far off), CasaRelax is the perfect house for your vacation.
