Shop 300 m, supermarket 500 m, restaurant, bakery 400 m, bus stop 300 m, railway station "Lauterbrunnen", outdoor swimming pool 500 m. Golf course (18 hole) 11 km, tennis 600 m, minigolf 600 m, cable car 500 m, ski rental 250 m, ski bus stop 200 m. Nearby attractions: Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn, Interlaken 12 km. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Wengen - Kleine Scheidegg, Mürren Schilthorn. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee, Brienzersee. Exit to the balcony. 1 room 20 m2 with 1 french bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen 12 m2 (oven, dishwasher, 5 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC. On the lower ground floor: 1 room 28 m2 with 1 sofabed (130 cm, length 200 cm), 1 french bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room 15 m2 with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Exit to the garden. Bath/WC, double hand-basin. Upper floor: 3 rooms with sloping ceilings, each room with 1 french bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). Shower/WC. Balcony 35 m2, patio. Balcony furniture, deck chairs (6), box-room. Marvellous panoramic view of the mountains and the countryside. Beautiful villa suitable for skiing in Weng

Big chalet, 5-7 minutes walk to the train station taking you up to Wengen. Very well equipped, fireplace, barbecue on the terrace. Well heated. We spent a very good week. It is rather expensive, ideally for 2-3 families to share.

Great family vacation

We came to celebrate my mother in laws 80th birthday. The chalet was in good order and comfortable except the one room did not have the sleeper sofa. The view off of our balcony can’t be beat. We couldn’t stop looking at it.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay in Lauterbrunnen. While the town itself was very busy the central location of Lauterbrunnen allowed us to quickly escape the hustle and bustle and explore the surrounding mountains. The home had everything we needed. For us as international travellers it would have been helpful to have some instructions on the laundry machines and oven, as the symbols were different. All in all a wonderful stay.

Fantastic accommodation in an amazing location

Three generations visiting Switzerland and this Chalet was just perfect! Amazing unspoilt views down the valley and to several waterfalls. Lauterbrunnen is a busy hub but this Chalet about 100m up from Main Street and was peaceful. Sleeping accommodation and bathrooms on all three levels worked really well for us, as did the large open plan living space. Really well equipped although could do with a couple more serving dishes. More clarity on refuse arrangements would have been helpful too!

Es könnte so viel besser sein….

Das Chalet hatten wir für eine Woche gemietet. Es liegt fantastisch. Ohne Abstriche soweit. Evtl hatten wir nur etwas Pech aber von unseren bisherigen Aufenthalten in der Schweiz waren wir ein hohes Maß an Perfektion und Qualität gewohnt. Was das anging, wurden wir leider etwas enttäuscht. Angefangen von teils sehr gebrauchten Matratzen, über teils nicht vorhandene teils defekte Beleuchtung, entw. nicht gepflegtes oder abgewohntes Mobiliar bis hin zu nicht gereinigten Küchenutensilien. Schade.

Ein geräumiges und schönes Haus, sehr ordentlich und sauber. Bei der Ausstattung mit Besteck etc. ist noch etwas Luft nach oben. Leider war die Kommunikation vor Ort schwierig bzw. Fragen wurden nicht beantwortet. Die Hausmappe lässt viele Fragen offen. Ansonsten ein tolles Haus...

Heerlijk ruim huis

Ik zou de beoordeling zeer goed willen geven echter de verlichting in het huis is slecht. Woonkamer verlichting onvoldoende en in meerdere ruimten zijn lampen kapot. Per slaapkamer zou er ook een goed verlichtte spiegel dienen te zijn. Het is moeizaam om iemand van de lokale service te pakken te krijgen. Bij geen gehoor wordt soms teruggebeld. De laatste dagen van ons verblijf hebben wij geen contact kunnen krijgen. Geen vuilniszakken meer en de gasfles voor de BBC leeg, zelf vulling regelen.

Voldoende

Het huis was ruim genoeg voor onze familie maar het had wat achterstallig onderhoud. De wifi was van slechte kwaliteit waardoor werken vanuit deze vakantiewoning moeizaam ging. Verder was de 400 m afstand van de kabelbaan niet realiseerbaar omdat die gesloten was. Daardoor moesten wij met kleine kinderen eerst met een bus naar een andere kabelbaan.

Chalet au calme très bien situé, bien équipé, avec un accueil agréable. Très confortable pour 11 personnes. Malgré quelques équipements défectueux (lunette de toilette casée !). Contact local agréable cependant ne répondant que de façon intermittente.

Prima woning.

Heel fijn en confortabel huis. Keuken was nieuw ingericht en gebreken van het vorig jaar was opgelost. Opmerking: Geef bij de info map aan hoe je het afval moet scheiden en war je oudpapier kwijt kunt. Dit is in zwitserland werkelijk een zoekplaatje zodat je het maar ergens bij gooit.

Schönes Haus in toller Lage mit Mängeln

Schönes Haus in toller, ruhiger und zentraler Lage in Lauterbrunnen mit schönem Ausblick. Die Küche und Bäder bedürfen dringend einer Renovierung. Die Küchenmöbel sind stark abgenutzt, im Backofen hängt die Heizspirale herunter, den Gefrierschrank im Keller haben wir verschmutzt vorgefunden. Im Bad im OG lief das Wasser nicht im Waschbecken ab und in der Küche spritzte der Wasserhahn in alle Richtungen. Die letzten beiden Dinge wurden während unseres Aufenthalts beseitigt. Die anderen nicht.

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt, wollen trotzdem auf kleine Mängel hinweisen: GS -unterer Einsatz defekt; Dusche im OG - Duschwände nicht voll schießbar->Wasserlacken; Skischuhtrockner anfangs kalt - vom Verwalter gerichtet; Einige Glühbirnen kaputt -> vom Verwalter gerichtet; Matratze im UG, li. Zimmer durchgelegen; aber sonst ok, Verwalter sehr bemüht.

Geht so

Das Haus ist grosszügig und schön gelegen. Leider hat es viele Sachen, die nicht funktionnieren. z.B ist der Abfalleimer nicht befestigt, so dass er jedesmal rauskippt beim Abfallwegwerfen. Im Badezimmer oben fehlte der Spiegel, auch hat es keinen Schlüssel. Die Duschglastüre ist nicht dicht, es entsteht eine Wasserlache beim Duschen, der Duschkopfhalter ist nicht gut befestigt und wackelt. Beim Backofen fällt die eineSeitenschiene raus, es fehlt eine Oese oder was...... Kontakt schlecht.

Die bemängelten Stellen wurden zwischenzeitlich repariert, vielen Dank für das Feedback. Während der Hauptsaison, wenn das Haus durchgehend belegt ist, ist es leider schwieriger, Reparaturen durchzuführen. Aber wir versichern, dass nun alles wieder in Ordnung ist. Es würde uns freuen, Sie bald wieder begrüßen zu dürfen.
