Stay was perfect. 15-20 minutes walk into gorteen. The rooms and house were set up perfectly. Keiran was so welcoming. Will definitely stay again

James Tymon cottage is part of my mothers family history for over a century. The cottage is named for my great uncle who died in the great war. To maintain this traditional house and grounds I let it to guests to enjoy a wonderful week or two in a splendid setting of stone walled fields and old trees.
Why they chose this property
Apart from a warm and cosy cottage with everything you will need for an enjoyable stay the grounds have numerous prepared paths that will take you along by the river or up by the stone walled fields peppered by old trees. You may be lucky enough to glimpse some of the wild life like foxes, hares, wild ducks etc that share the farms 30 acres of land.

According to our regular guests it is a wonderful haven of peace and tranquility. A place to relax,reflect and unwind in this hectic world.
