Koi Palms 1 bedroom Cottage - Great location! 5 Minute Walk to Kailua Beach!

Come and enjoy our island home with us. Koi Palms Cottage is located within our gated property alongside our lovely Koi pond, in the quaint town of Kailua. The owners live on the property in the main house.
The cottage is a 600 square foot 1 bedroom unit. The kitchen is equipped with 2 induction hot plates with stainless steel cookware and a convection oven / microwave oven suitable for baking. A full size refrigerator, dishwasher and a large granite island complete the kitchen space. The bedroom has a king sized bed with luxury linens and a flat screen TV. The living room area is comfortable and inviting. With a 40 inch LED Smart TV and a small library of books from titles we've read to books guests have left behind. Feel free to take one for the plane ride home.
Stroll two blocks to the white sands of Kailua Beach with your morning coffee or tea to see a breathtaking sunrise or through Kailua town at night. Relax and enjoy the tumbling waters of our pond and its colorful Koi fish dancing below your windows. The vacation cottage has one parking space and is a private entrance.

Perfect choice

Koi Palms has it all—cozy comfort with lovely decor, koi pond just outside the windows with beautiful fish and the calming sound of falling waters, shady parking beside a private gate, quiet and well-tended neighborhood, easy 5-10 walk to both the beach and Kailua town, and, finally, very friendly and helpful owners on site. Grab it if you can!

Great location! The cottage had absolutely everything you could ask for and more. So close to beach and shopping/dinning. Trica and Eric were very accommodating. Would not want to stay anywhere else on our next visit to Hawaii.

Great communication with host. Very responsive. Offered to pick up a few groceries to get us started, since we were coming in late at night. Attentive to our needs. Shower head popped off and had a brand new one installed by the time we returned to the property. Bottom line five star property and host.

Great rental in a quite neighborhood!

My husband and I stayed in the Koi Palms cottage for 5 nights and it was wonderful. Very quite, exceptionally clean, well decorated rental. The hosts, who live next door, are very nice. Everything you need is here including washer/dryer, kitchen, outdoor grill, beach chairs, cooler, etc. There is a great Whole Foods store nearby! Kailuah beach is only a short walk away- beautiful beach - probably one of the best on Oahu. I would highly recommend the cottage if you don't like to stay in a crowded resort area.

great choice for Kailua

If you are reading this then you probably already know how great Kailua is. And one reason for that is they have regulated vacation rentals. The legal ones are in or attached to a home where real people live. This is a great measure to preserve Kailua but it can make it challenging to find somewhere to stay that is bigger than a studio and has privacy. The Koi Palms fills this need- it has a private entrance, a sitting front room, a kitchen (or as close to a kitchen as the regulations allow) and a separate bedroom- all well maintained and furnished and equipped with quality and attention to detail. Oh and did I mention the location? It simply can't be beat. Walk to downtown, walk to Buzz's, walk to a great quiet beach access point. Perfect. The owners seem to do their best to respect the privacy of their guests, and maintain a calm, quiet environment. The unit is well equipped with beach gear, and the kitchen is set up to be bale to prepare some meals as well. We had asked if they had a larger fry pan and they went out a bought a brand new one for us to use. Much appreciated. The only surprise was that there were no toiletries- not even hand soap for the bathroom which might be expected at this price point but other than that it was near perfect (my wife wished there was a magnifying make up mirror in the bathroom, but that might be pushing it!). Wonderful stay

My husband and I had a fabulous stay. The cottage was exactly as advertised. Although we didn't prepare meals the kitchen had everything you could possibly need if you wanted to. Very comfy king sized bed. Beach towels and chairs were very appreciated. The owner was very responsive and helpful up to and during our stay. Just a short walk to beautiful beach and easy access to dining options. Our stay here helped make our anniversary trip very special.

Perfect location

We loved our stay at the Koi Palms Cottage. It was in a great neighborhood location where we could walk to the grocery store, the beach, and restaurants nearby. The bbq grill was great for cooking, and the cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Can't wait to come back!

The perfect beach cottage getaway

AMAZING! We had waited two years for this trip and it was beyond worth the wait! The location is perfect - in a quiet neighborhood and only about a 5 minute walk from the beach, and 5 min drive to grocery store and local shops. Tricia and her husband were very helpful in relieving the stress of travel and having groceries already available for us before we arrived. They both gave us the best recommendations to food and activities we would not have found otherwise. The cottage itself was the perfect size, private, and the coy pond was very relaxing. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

The Best in Oahu

This was easy to book and We loved it! The place was immaculate and they thought of every detail. We walked a few blocks to the beach every day and enjoyed The residential feeling and the activities available. My favorite place in Hawaii so far (this is our fourth trip and we have been to waikiki, north shore, kauai, maui, and the big island). We definately want to return!

A perfect little oasis.

We loved the cottage so so so much. We stayed for our honeymoon, and it was the perfect spot—just steps from the best beach in the country, a short walk into an idyllic little beach town with everything you might need, and just half an hour away from Honolulu. We loved exploring the town and the island from here, but you don’t need to go anywhere if you don’t want to. It is a wonderful place to hang out, nosh, read, nap, and just relax in between your O’ahi explorations. We would love to come back, and expect to before long.

Dreamy beach cottage, perfect location - Beach!

Tricia and Eric are outstanding hosts. My wife and I are world travelers and have stayed at over 100 properties on other travel sites. This was our first VRBO and it was amazing. The property location is a short walk from one of the very best beaches on the island. Kailua is not to be missed, not too far away from Honolulu, but far enough to be more relaxing and have its own great vibe. The neighborhood also has Mountain View’s and is lovely for morning walks with coffee. The cottage is fully equipped with all the amenities you or your family could possibly want. Furnishings are high end tommy bahama style and both the king mattress and pull out sofa are very comfortable (we slept there for a week). I can’t recommend your stay here highly enough.

Wonderful stay in Kailua HI

The property is just as described. The cottage is in an excellent location and just 2 blocks' walk to beach access. The cottage was very clean, well organized, exactly what I hoped for. Easy to cook up breakfast in the morning, lots of ice for the cooler to take with us, kitchen equipment great, washer/dryer perfect size. Loved the beautiful shower -- very nice! We enjoyed the outdoor space in the evenings after beaching all day or other excursions. Very relaxing vacation! Our host(s) were very welcoming and helpful with information about local restaurants -- definitely enjoyed Los Garcias and Buzz's Original Steak. We hope to stay here again.

Koi Cottage

We loved our stay at the Koi Cottage. A wonderful place where you can fall asleep to the sound of the trickling water from the Koi Pond. King bed was very comfortable and there’s a double headed shower to enjoy as well! Would definitely recommend!
