It’s time to get away to Harkers Island. This 3 bedroom 2 bath home is perfect for families, couples, fishermen or hunters. We love this little cottage because of its history of being one of the early homes on Harkers Island. Built in 1937, it has had many renovations over the years but still has that cottage feel. This homes does not have water access, but there are several public access points at the public beach or one of the free boat ramps. The Harkers Island Fishing Center is located 2/10 from the house. If you don’t have a boat, no problem, you can take the ferry over to Cape Lookout and search for sea shells, hang out on the beach or take a swim.

Nice island get away. House tastefully furnished for enjoyable stay. We enjoyed the location and the National Park that was close by. Looking forward to a return trip.
This wonderful cozy home had just what we needed for a comfortable stay and all those items were just where we thought they would be. Beds and pillows were premium. Would stay again!
We loved Mike’s house! He’s a great host- communication was quick and clear. No laundry list of cleaning tasks upon check out which was nice. The house is adorable. It’s larger than it looks from the outside and has everything you need. We stayed here with our 9 month old and old man dog and everyone loved it! Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is really spacious for family meals. AC works like a charm, the temp was comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower and the proximity to the Cape Lookout ferry. Harkers island is sweet, only downside is that there’s only one restaurant on the island- if you’re looking for more options it’s a 20 min drive into Beaufort. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
Stayed for just one night. I wish we would have been there for the whole week. Property was comfortable and spacious. Location was great. Beds were comfortable. Hope to be back someday.
My husband and I had a wonderful time staying here. Everything was as listed. The host was easy to get in contact with and had everything ready for us! Would definitely stay here again!
We loved the house, it’s got the charm of an older house, but totally updated and spotless inside! It was actually much more spacious than we expected, the kitchen is huge! This would be a great place for a family get together. It’s a great location on the island, easy access to the museum or ferry and also close to Billy’s, Dollar General for a quick trip to pick up anything you forgot to bring. We really enjoyed our stay and will be hopefully coming back!
This is an older home that has upgraded, the only downside is there is only 1 TV in the house. Otherwise the rooms and bathrooms were spacious. Easy to find. I would stay again.

It rained the whole time we were here. Nothing to do with the house. The house was great. The weather was awful. We never got to go anywhere or do anything.
The property description online was spot-on. I love older homes that have been brought back to life and this home doesn’t disappoint.. The beds slept great. The showers were wonderful after a full day at Cape Lookout shelling. The kitchen had everything needed however we took advantage of the great seafood restaurants on the island. The yard was great for my grown kids, my granddaughter, and our two dogs. Everyone wished we could stay longer. Thank you for opening your home to us!!
Our group traveled to Harker's island to celebrate birthdays and anniversary. We had never been to Harker's Island or Cape Lookout. We really enjoyed all the activities including the sunset cruise. We managed to pack a lot into just 2 days. Fin's Fishing camp was a perfect spot and accomodated 3 couples easily. We enjoyed games of Yahtzee in the evenings. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean. Mike the owner was easy to reach and quick to respond to all our needs. We would love to visit this little fishing town again.
Quietly located base of operations for a weekend exploring the surrounding areas with a family and a dog. Fin's provided 3 spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds, open spaces to hang out, plenty of room to park large vehicles and toys in tow. We could make some noise and nobody was bothered. If you forget anything at all, you are literally a 4 minute walk to the Dollar General where the friendly staff will show you to anything you could think of. All this for an extremely reasonable rate. Thanks Fin!
Overall, we had a good stay. The location was very convenient to getting the ferry to Cape Lookout. The island is cute but not much but homes. There are two good restaurants on the island, but we did not have the opportunity to try either. The house is small but it served our purpose for a short visit. A couple of doors didn’t quite close properly. Our king-size bed was actually two twins put together, but we slept fine. We had a bit of an issue with a fish smell in the refrigerator, but it eventually passed. Communication was good, but we had a bit bit of a problem with the app itself. Overall nice great for fishing trip.
Older property but extremely clean and comfortable. We have stayed here several times for our family reunion on Harkers Island and have always enjoyed it.
Was a great stay for our intended visit to Cape Lookout to see the stars.
The house was comfortable and well furnished. We are seniors (aged in late 70s and early 80s….therefore found bathtubs challenging as there are no bars to assist getting in and out. Also no railing on porch was a similar challenge. But we loved our stay anyway and had no accidents.
Fin’s was a great place to stay while we visited Harkers Island and got married😊 Perfect location to get to all things on the island. Clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Mike was a great host with excellent communication. Would stay again!
The property was fine, but on seeing all the charges for lodging tax, cleaning and the 3rd one I can't remember, it seemed over the top. I probably won't be staying with VRBO again. I had no communication with property manager, but the owner, Mike was great.
