Walk to North Carolina's Stone Mountain State Park! Beautiful Waterfalls
Welcome to NC's Blue Ridge Mountains! You have just found the closest and most unique Vacation Rental to Stone Mountain State Park!
Our cabin is located less than 1 mile to the entrance of Stone Mountain State Park where you will find magnificent Waterfalls, historic landmarks, hiking trails, mountain climbing and much, much more!
Imagine this...you're sitting on the front porch of a beautiful log cabin, enjoying the cool, fresh mountain air. Now...look out below and you will see a 70 mile panoramic view featuring every shade of the color green spread out over a wide forested valley and time softened mountains. White clouds hang like dollops of meringue in the Carolina blue sky. (Continued below)
Now...look east and you will see Pilot Mountain ('Mt. Pilot' as it was referred to on the famous Andy Griffith TV show). And on a clear day, you can see the tall buildings in downtown Winston Salem, NC, over 50 miles away!
And at night...Wow...the twinkling night lights in the valley are breathtaking and soooo romantic!
Natural beauty of the magnitude is so inspiring and a true feast for the senses...it nourishes the soul.
It will be equally magnificent when Autumn leaves paint it red, copper, bronze and gold; when winter snow blankets it with a sparkling layer of sugar white, and when spring shoots, buds and flowers inundate it in a sea of lacy pastel foam.
Our Stone Mountain rental cabin is the perfect vacation spot for all seasons!

It was a great view!! Little to do in the area but a good drive and your were around a lot. We mainly went to relax and enjoy some quiet time it was prefect for that!
All was great, we were unaware of the stink bug situation. The sign to leave all doors closed however, the mesh front door was damaged which made it useless while I had to keep going in and out while graying to grill. The grill was also very old and rusty. Other than that it was a great stay.
The cabin location was perfect, only 5 minute from Stone Mountain. The view from the front porch was amazing. The hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking. Cozy and quaint.
What a view!! The jacuzzi sits outside looking over the mountains with fall colors was one of the best views we’ve ever had!Cabin is cozy, very close to the state park. We enjoyed hiking and trout fishing. The host communicated quickly and made check-in super easy. If you want quiet, scenery, and a comfortable place to relax, this is it.”
Cabin was clean, well furnished, and very comfortable. It was perfect for my wife and myself. The hosts were excellent in answering all questions, including early in our planning. We loved the views, and location was great for seeing Stone Mtn. There are two other cabins near by but far enough away to maintain plenty of privacy. We stayed three nights and wanted four but our cabin was already booked.

Amy, we are delightful that you enjoyed your stay at our beautiful little log cabin. Come back to see us again. We love repeat guest and we're open year round.
The cabin was very clean and just the right size for my husband and I. It was very close to Stone Mountain, the blue ridge parkway, wineries and Elkin. Our only complaint was the bath towels. They were very small and there were no towels for the hot tub. It would have been nice if they had some beach towels available for the hot tub.
Cabin 1 was cozy and adequate for 2 people. We were able to cook all our meals there. The gas fireplace was a nice touch since it was the first time this season we got some colder temps overnight. Extra things I was glad I brought: big chopping knife small paring knifemixing bowlscaper spatulaziplock bagsbeach towel for hot tubThere was some tupperware there. We used our e-bikes to commute to Stone Mtn Park. Had a great time! Thanks Ed
Hot tub was great. Couldn't get satellite signal on TV, but we weren't there to watch TV. Scenery and ambiance beautiful as always (3rd time we've stayed). Thanks! We will be back!!! May have to revisit Cabin 2 since renovated.Duane and Kaite

Thanks Duane! We love repeat guest. The satellite system will be eliminated now that we have great high speed interactions up there.
Please come back again. Cabin 2 is really nice with a new bedroom and deck. Spectacular views!
