About this property

Beautifully decorated two bedroom one bath Casita complete with fully equipped kitchen, complimentary coffee bar, and laundry room. Wonderful amenities throughout with an upscale atmosphere and attention to detail. BBQ gas grill on the upper patio, lower patio has seating with a beautiful view, and direct Guadalupe river access. Steps down to the river have a hand rail, although not easily accessible for the physically challenged.

Just a short walk to downtown Gruene! EV charging station for guest use only, including high-speed Wi-Fi and streaming smart TV’s. Thorough cleaning initiatives in place for the safety of our guests. We’re also a 100% non-smoking property; no smoking or vaping allowed inside.

Come and enjoy some true Texas hospitality. Take in a concert at the famous Gruene Hall, dine at wonderful nearby restaurants, grab a cold beverage at numerous taverns & live music venues, or enjoy shopping the convenient antique and boutique shops. We’re just a short drive away from Schlitterbahn Water Park, downtown New Braunfels, Wurstfest, Landa Park, the Comal river, and ~20min to the San Marcos Outlet Malls!

Located on the edge of the Texas Hill Country, you can easily take a day excursion to visit Austin, Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, or San Antonio. In fact, some of the most famous BBQ in Texas is easily within driving distance.

A very peaceful getaway

Beautiful property in a great location for Gruene

My family of four enjoyed this beautiful property. It is walking distance to all the downtown Gruene attractions. Property manager was wonderful and great to work with! They have many small items provided (chargers, soaps, few drinks in the fridge, laundry bag, etc.) which is extremely nice. River access as well, but you must be able to climb many steeper steps. We plan to stay at this property again.

Awesome Place

This house was everything you could ask for and more. It is very conveniently located to Gruene and the Guadalupe River. This is the cleanest Air B&B house we have ever stayed in. The owners allowed us to reschedule our reservation to a different date when they were predicting inclement weather for our original reservation timeframe. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Gorgeous is a spot on description of this property! The level of detail and thoughtfulness that went into the layout and design is very impressive. The hosts, Terry F. and Terry T. made us feel very welcome, communicated with us timely and were very accommodating. We had an opportunity to introduce ourselves, but they were very respectful of our privacy. The direct access to the river was beautiful. They also recommended some local spots for us to try. Everything we could have needed for our stay was available; from a stocked coffee bar to individual makeup remover pods (very important for us ladies!) My only regret is that my husband and I were not able to stay longer!

Gruene Living

Terry and his wife were very accommodating and were perfect hosts. They were full of information and their casita had everything you could think of when staying out of town. It was meticulously maintained and was the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed at. Highly recommend staying here and plan on staying many more times.

Best weekend ever

This property had it all! Convenient location, river access, high-end amenities that met all of our needs, luxurious shower and comfortable mattresses. Terry was an attentive, kind host. He showed us around the casita and explained how to easily access the electronics. He even mailed back something we’d left behind. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!

I built the Casita at the front of my property to accommodate ease of access, while also allowing convenient river access just down the steps with a quaint location for guests. My personal home is at the rear of the property, however I do respect my guests privacy.

Not only is my beautifully appointed Casita walking distance to the downtown Gruene area and local venues, but it also has private water access to the gorgeous Guadalupe river. There was a lot of thought and taste put into the decor, with upscale amenities to ensure my guests have everything they need for a wonderful stay.
