A great place to relax, fish and watch the sailboats go by. 15 minute drive to Folly Beath and 20 minute drive to Isle of Palms Beach.

Great location to downtown, beaches, parks and the airport!

We stayed here for 5 weeks while our house was under construction. Loretta was a gracious host, great communication throughout our stay.

House by the "secret beach"

This nice quiet home by Sunset Beach was perfect for our family. We stayed for over a month and the space and yard were wonderful. The walk to the beach was so beautiful and what a view of the harbor. Our host Loretta was attentive and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend!!!

Work accommodation

We stayed while working on a jobsite in James Island. The house was very comfortable for us and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very accommodating and was very responsive to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this property.

Home away from home

Hello, both my wife and I are retired. My daughter was scheduled to attend a month-long training at the FLETC training center in Charleston. So we decided to all go down to babysit for her during her classroom sessions. This place was a godsend! The neighborhood is both safe and family oriented. The location is convenient to both downtown Charleston and to the beaches in the area. One of the best things about this residence is the host/hostess. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They were very responsive to all of our inquiries. They even went beyond the norm and baby-proofed the house and got us a pack-n-play for the baby. It also comes with a fenced in backyard for the dog, what else could you ask for? I can't imagine what our stay would have been like if we were in any other accommodation. Most highly recommended!

Best Place to Stay on James Island South Carolina

The property was not disappointing. In fact it definitely succeeded my expectations. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. It is very close to Folly Beach, grocery store and just a short ride to downtown Charleston. I highly recommend this place.
