Spent a long weekend at the property with the family. There was ample room for the 4 of us. The place was clean, the kitchen had all the essentials (and some nice bonuses) and the beds were comfortable. The location was a bit north of the really crowded areas, but convenient to get to Mt. Washington and Littleton.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and found your way to all the great adventures surrounding us. It’s nice to be off the beaten path to truly appreciate all the north woods has to offer in peace. Come see us again some time. Safe travels.
We stayed here for a mini trip to Bretton Woods, the Ice Castles, and tubing at Waterville Valley. This house is updated and comfortable. Our kids loved the games and books. It was very clean, well stocked and had quite a few extras that made the trip convenient. We had a great time exploring the yard for animal tracks!

Thank you for trusting us to host your family. We are glad you had a great time and felt at home in our home. And thank you for leaving everything in tiptop shape. Come back and see us again anytime.
Pros: unbelievably clean, better stocked than most, comfortable, wife loved the place. Great fans, all utensils, even bug spray and snacks. This will rate higher after the work gets done making river access useable.
Cons: No A/C not a problem as long as you are not a light sleeper because with the windows open there is some traffic noise throughout the night.

Thanks for your review Tim. We do have central A/C. I’m sorry you didn’t inquire about it because it was an improvement as of July 4th. The path to the river from the backyard is currently partial dirt/stone due to some excavation done recently but it’s accessible via a short walk, certainly not a simple stroll. Hope you’ll come see us again as we continue our improvements to the property. We are glad we could host you due to the last minute cancellation you experienced. Safe travels!
We had such a wonderful experience! It was the perfect size for our family of four and they thought of everythingy we could have needed. Our girls especially loved walking down to the river!

We love sharing the beauty of our home and its surroundings with others seeking solitude and rest along with north country’s beauty in adventure.
