1.6-acre property situated on 200 feet of private frontage on the northmost tip of Van Etten Lake. The property contains three spacious homes plus a fourth house converted to a game room. When you book you are booking the entire property, all three homes and game room. The accommodations include a Main Lodge (1700 sq. ft.) with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The second, Hill Top House, (940 sq. ft.) has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The third home, the Lake Front House (940 sq. ft.) contains 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, all with excellent views of the water. All three homes are equipped with full kitchens, dishwashers, washers and dryers. Enjoy your own private house while vacationing with extended family or friends. Perfect for multiple families, private enough to be with your immediate family while sharing a great time with friends and/or extended guests. The game room includes dual TVs for video games, television, or movies (bring your own gaming system to plug and play your favorite). Additionally, we have included a pool table, foosball table, darts, and plenty of board games or card games. The outdoor space in the center of the property is perfect for campfires, games, relaxing, playing on the swing set, or just enjoying the stunning view of the lake. The property is fenced and contains a steel sea wall. The home provides a 60 ft. dock capable of handling multiple boats. Enjoy the included canoe, kayaks, and paddle boards. The owners continue to seek out and add amenities, check back often for additional features. Many outdoor and indoor games provided.

Oscoda, MI stay

Property was excellent! The 3 homes gave us room to accommodate our family and the separate game room was a hit! The fire pit and seating area was perfect and being right there on the lake with the paddle boat, canoe, kayaks, and paddle boards was fantastic! The homes were clean and the neighborhood was awesome.

Beautiful Retreat

Wonderful accommodation that worked great for my kids and grandkids. The kids had plenty to do from little girl toys to big boy canoes…making fond family memories.

Beautiful property on the lake.

We had a small family reunion and this was the perfect place to have it. Lots of stuff to keep the kids busy. Hope to come back next year.

We had a great time. There were no surprises. All the places were clean and well stocked. It was private with the large property. The outside furniture was great as was the fire pit area with lights. We had a boat and the kids enjoyed tubing, skiing, swimming. We also got some nice fish! We plan on returning next year. Thanks for a great week.

Great Property

We had a great time at this place. The house's were very clean and updated with plenty of room for big groups. We had age's raging from 5 month old to 88 years old. I would highly recommend this property. We are already talking about booking our next family trip at this property again!

Perfect Family Get Away

We could not have enjoyed our stay more. The pictures do not do the property justice. We had kids from 8 months to 14 years old and everyone enjoyed their time, kayaking, paddle boarding, playing corn hole and badminton etc. Home was clean with everything you needed for an enjoyable stay. Can't wait to come back again.

Great family vacation spot

We have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and overall this was the best one yet. The property is very comfortable and well equipped with everything needed to make your stay enjoyable. Communication with the owners was outstanding and the layout of the property with the outdoor gathering and play areas, lake front, and 3 cottages was great. The larger main home allowed for family meals and get togethers while the other cottages provided areas to retreat when needed, especially helpful for kids nap time. The lake is beautiful and nearby beaches and hiking over a great vacation spot. Friends stayed here with their family in 2022 and highly recommended it...we are so glad they did.

Family vacation

We really enjoyed this resort. All the cottages were beautiful. Plenty of yard room for everyone to do things. We loved the outdoor furniture on the main house deck and around the fire pit. The 2 bedrooms in the main house are a little small but the rest of the house was very large. There isn’t a beach area for the kids to play in the water but they finally got in about the 3rd day and had lots of fun. Overall a fun place to stay!

Vacation

Everything was accurately stated. Property was very clean and comfortable. GPS didn’t always work glad we downloaded maps. Flying insects were plentiful but we had some fly traps and tiki torches so that we could enjoy the deck. Neighbors dogs came to visit. We tried to discourage them because of the little ones. Neighbors could be heard but not really seen. Alll in all we had an enjoyable time.

Perfect stay

This home worked out amazingly for our group of 18, composed of 4 families, plus our mom. This rental has three fully stocked houses, plus a game room with a pool table, foosball table, tvs. Absolutely everything needed was thoughtfully provided, from outdoor games, indoor activities, water toys, crockpots, kitchenware, extension cords…. We’re planning on returning next year, and other than clothes and bathroom items, there’s very little other things we needed. Holly provided laundry tabs, garbage bags, soap…. All those little things really showed the care put into this place. We had a great time, and couldn’t have had a better week.

Family vacation

Our family of 15 loved this lake stay! The weather was perfect other than an evening of summer storms. We spent many hours on the lake using the SUPs, kayaks, and canoe that came with the rental, along with our personal SUPs. We visited the Lumbermen's Monument, Tawas Point and Lake Huron. It was a "Pure Michigan" kind of week! The listing was exactly as promised. The homes were just right for our family of 15 - ages ranging from 8-55. All of the cupboards were clearly marked, fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, etc... the owners really thought of everything! We hope to have another family vacation here in the future.

Definitely one of our favorite places now!

We received very clear instructions on how to check in. It was a breeze! Plenty of space for our family of 7 to stay. We had two friends join us for the last two days. Everything was very clean and organized! They have everything you need to just walk right in. We found a few quaint restaurants with really good food. The beach was a short drive away, just beautiful! My husband and the boys fished several times a day. They caught perch, several bass, pike and a patch worthy blue gill! They had a blast! The fire pit area was a hit, and a great place to hang out together in the evening. We will definitely book again! I've stayed at many VRBO places over the years and I can't find one negative thing to say about this one! Thank you!

Perfect home for our annual family vacation

We booked this rental for our annual family vacation. The homes are exactly as listed. The main house was perfect when we all wanted to congregate together-dinners and evenings to watch TV or play games. The beautiful game room, playground and outdoor games were a hit too. Having three refrigerators was a definite plus; no need to worry about how to keep all of our food and drinks cold. All homes are well stocked and cabinets and drawers are labeled making it easy to find dishes, silverware, pots, pans etc. We rented a pontoon from Sunny Bunns for one of our days, everyone enjoyed being out on the lake. We also went in the lake off the property. It’s easy access off the seawall. The adults floated on rafts and the grandkids enjoyed playing in the water. A couple family members used the paddleboard as well. Two days we drove to Oscoda Beach, which was a quick 10 minute drive. Everyone enjoyed swimming in Lake Huron plus playing in the sand. The guys all enjoy golfing and the courses were no more than 10 minutes away. This property checked off all of the boxes for us and should we pick the Oscoda area for another trip we will definitely choose it again.

Large family vacation

This property was perfect for our large gathering. The accommodations were great. Large yard, play area for the kids and a dock to accommodate your boats. The 3 units were clean, comfortable and had everything needed for our vacation stay. 5 star Indeed.

We had a fabulous week. The property was ideal for the three families that stayed the week. Each family had there own house. The houses are vary clean and comfortable. The outside common area is great. We sat at the fire pit every morning and evening. Plenty of room in the doc for two boats. We are thinking of booking this place for next year.

Awesome family spot!

Kick back amd enjoy this amazing spot with beautiful lake view! It was perfect to assemble as a family but offered space for quiet time! The paddle boards Kayaks and canoes were enjoyed by all! The young kids played in the sand and we loved all the family yard games! We had a fire every night, the space is just perfect for large groups! Perfect family vacation spot!

We feel very lucky to have found this amazing property. After having rented the same three cabins several hours east for the last 57 years, our annual vacation spot property sold and was no longer being rented. We lucked out stumbling upon this gem. We now hope that this will be our new annual family vacation spot. We all agree that it turned out to be an upgrade from the place we loved and vacationed at for so many years. We look forward to returning. Everything was perfect and every amenity we could’ve asked for was here! We stayed a week with ten adults and two six month old twins and never once felt cramped. To say we highly recommend is an understatement.

Great group vacation

We had a great time with our group of friends and family at this property. The yard is spacious with plenty of room to spread out. We loved having our privacy at night for sleeping in our own house, while sharing the experiences during the day with friends and family. There was no drama and no issues, it was a great escape. We loved the ambiance of the night lights around the fire pit, and the lit up volleyball court at night. The kids played games in the yard, whiffle ball, corn hole, badminton, and volleyball to name a few. Several of us really enjoyed the morning paddle board rides and the boys enjoyed fishing. There was a lot of success with perch this year. Houses were fully stocked and well decorated. We will be returning in the future for sure! I definitely recommend!

We bought this home to make memories that will last a lifetime with our children. My mother and several uncles also have homes on this lake making it a great family getaway. It has been a dream come true.

Why they chose this property

This property is a second vacation rental for us. We have another property in Bellaire Michigan that we rent out which has been very successful for us. We have family on Van Etten Lake. We bought this home to watch our 4 children grow up and make memories for them to enjoy for a lifetime, while spending more time with their grandparents and other family on the Lake. We hope you will share those same memories with your friends and family.

What makes this property unique

The unique benefit of this home is the large private fenced in location with multiple homes. The spacious yard with 200 feet of lake frontage allows plenty of room and privacy for you and your family/friends. Traveling with extended family or friends can be challenging when staying in one house. This allows the opportunity spread out and enjoy a vacation while having your own space to get away to. It is truly a unique experience.
The home offers expansive views of the lake and overlooks Loud island. The property is well shaded and has ample room for activities and games outside without disturbing the neighbors. You can often see eagles flying on this end of the lake, as well as geese, ducks, and swans.
This property is located close to amazing beaches on Lake Huron as well as close proximity to the Ausable River. It is also extremely close to Wurtsmith Airforce base, if you are lucky you may be able to
