Beautiful, 2BR/2BA-beachside coastal cottage house, steps to the beach

Welcome to OCEAN BREEZE COTTAGE - UNIT C!

Newly constructed in 2020, this cottage has all the finishes and amenities you could hope for in a vacation rental. The cottage was designed to preserve the look and feel of the classic Old-Florida beach house that previously lined the beach-side streets of Mexico Beach all while incorporating new building codes and modern amenities.

Our cottage beach house has been tastefully decorated with beautiful, quality furnishings and equipment. The master bedroom has a king bed while the second bedroom has two twin beds. There is also a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. The cottage features vinyl luxury plank flooring throughout, gorgeous kitchen with GE appliances and quartz countertops. The cute backyard is small but fully fenced for privacy and features a brick paver patio with outdoor dining table and chairs, gas grill already hooked up to natural gas so need to worry about bringing charcoal or filling gas tanks. There is also an outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

The cottage is just steps away from the sugar-white sand and emerald green waters of the Forgotten Coast. This cottage is located beachside of Hwy. 98, so no crossing the highway while juggling your kids and beach gear. Also, located just a few streets over from the canal so plan on taking an evening stroll to watch the boats come in or walk to the beach west of the canal for the best shelling around.

The cottage is perfectly suited for a family vacation, romantic getaway or just a personal escape.

There is plenty to do around Mexico Beach, but you can also enjoy the quaint feel of the Forgotten Coast. Enjoy the nearby restaurants and shops across the street or just a short drive to Port St. Joe.

Cute house, great location!

My family of three enjoyed staying here this past week. The decor was adorable and the layout of the house was great for us! We came to fish and go out on our boat and the location was very convenient to the our boat slip and everything else. We were able to prepare simple meals and the neighborhood was quiet.

Perfect beach getaway house

This our 3rd year staying here! It’s the perfect location to the beach and perfect size. It has everything you need for cooking and the outdoor shower is a huge plus for us!

Our stay in Mexico Beach was great! The cottage was one of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in! It was so nice and quiet! The beach access was just a short little walk which made it even better! The beach was not crowded at all which made it nice to be able to keep an eye on our littles! We will definitely be back!

A Little Piece of Paradise

The property was in a very quiet location. The unit was very clean and up-to-date. It was light and airy. The unit was a short walking distance from the beach. We will definitely rent this property again.

MB Beach Cottage

This cottage is set up to be very comfortable and allow you to totally enjoy the back patio as well as the front area outdoors after spending time on the beach! Indoors there is plenty of room to accommodate various activities and the bed was very comfortable. When we had an issue, the owner responded immediately and all was resolved quickly. This was above/beyond our expectations. We highly recommend this property and hope to be back next year. It is truly a home away from home.

Beautiful way to end the summer

Just a quick getaway before school starts and it was perfect. Cottage was beautifully decorated, very clean, had everything we needed..beach was a less than 5 minute walk. Neighbors were very quiet...honestly, it was just so relaxing. It was exactly what we needed before the chaos of the school year starts. Oh..and nightly we played pickleball at the public courts. Those facilities were also very nice. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic stay

This was a great property and the owner was great at giving suggestions about things in the area since it was our first time to the area. Mexico Beach is a hidden gem!! It wasn’t crowded and there was no traffic. The house was in a great location and perfect for our family of 4!

Cute Cottage

Every bit of this cottage and its location was fantastic. Absolutely loved it! Red tide with fish kill was the only negative we experienced during our stay at Mexico Beach and that is not predictable or controllable. Definitely on our list for a revisit❤️

I graduated from Auburn University in 2002 and since 2003 have been selling real estate in Auburn. My wife Anna is a homemaker and enrichment teacher at our children's school. I have three children; Ella (14), Emma (11) and Joseph (8). I grew up vacationing in Mexico Beach and staying at the El Governor. Our family has visited Mexico Beach and loved the area and the peaceful beaches.

Why they chose this property

This property was built in 2020. The new construction was appealing. Also, the fact that you do not cross any major highways to access the beach was a must. The style and layout fit our family's needs and the beautiful beaches are only steps away from our private cottage. This is not a big complex and it is easy access in and out which made this a desirable location.
