This executive Oceanwoods lagoon-front home is a short 3 minute Walk to West Beach, to Boardwalks 14 & 15 just off beautiful Eugenia! An easy bike ride to The Sanctuary, or the Roy Barth Championship Tennis Center (now featuring pickelball courts for rent), and less than 10 minute drive to the shops & restaurants at Freshfields, this cul de sac location provides both privacy and proximity. The primary suite features a king sized Tempurpedic adjustable bed (split king with individual controllers) and an en suite bathroom. Watch the herons & egrets diving & fish jumping from this sunlit suite. An adjacent Bunk Room features a full over full bunk, an en-suite bathroom & laundry room. The “Front 9” suite has another brand new King BR with lagoon view, plus an adjacent ultra-comfortable Queen BR with shared bathroom. Both of these bedrooms also have wall-mounted 42” smart TVs. A half bath just inside the front door provides easy access for quick visits from the beach or bike ride, and an outdoor shower is perfect for sandy toes.

Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails in the lagoon front sun-lit windowed room outfitted with a pair of swivel chairs or grab a quick nap in the twin sized Charleston swing. A grilling porch is steps away from the kitchen, with gas Weber Grille with direct propane connection (no running out of gas!) The upgraded kitchen has high ceilings, stainless steel appliances & gas cooktop, a drip & Keurig coffee maker, blender, and it is well equipped for wining & dining during your stay. The home has a tankless hot water heater, Insteon Hot & Cold filtered water at the kitchen sink, and a new refrigerator with ice maker in the freezer. An open living/dining area features a stunning 86” 4K SmartTV for enjoying movies or sports, and the home has Xfinity High speed internet wi-fi for internet & TV apps. Casual dining for 6 at dining table, 3 at bar in the kitchen, and 6 outside on the grilling porch. We have provided 8 folding beach chairs & several beach umbrellas out by the lagoon-facing shower, and 8 Turkish beach towels help lighten your packing load. 2025 new HVAC, duct work, air scrubber & roof. Fun fact: this home was where the HGTV film crew stayed during the 2013 Dream Home giveaway, and its previous owner is a NASCAR driver.

Kiawah is known for its wildlife, so keep an eye out for the family of deer you may see as the sun comes up, and alligators basking in the sun by the lagoon...

It's a lovely property very close to the beach, which we enjoyed tremendously. We brought our bikes and were able to get to the beach in about a minute. The view from the sunroom and main bedroom are so lovely!

Amazing Family Beach Getaway

This home has the best amenities of any Kiawah home we’ve experienced yet. It is so comfortable, charming and has beautiful lagoon views, lots of nature! Every bed is super comfie, kitchen is well appointed. Easy walk to the beach.

Wonderful Cottage

Our family stayed here last year, and our (adult) kids said they really wanted to stay here again this year! We love the location and the beautiful home. We have plenty of space and privacy, and it is so convenient to have beach chairs provided. This will be our first choice again when we are back on the island!!

This is our second stay at the property, and it was just as great as the first time! Quiet area at the end of the street with pavers, outdoor shower and artificial turf to help with beach cleanup for the kids. Great indoor spaces for two families and a great tv. We do a lot of cooking, and the house is well stocked and set up for inside our outside cooking on the grill. Colleen is great and super responsive- we will be back!

Great location

Sparkling clean, beautifully appointed home with private lagoon view, easy check-in and sooo close to the beach. Location in quiet neighborhood meant little to no traffic to navigate when walking to beach or biking with family. Classic Kiawah!

Kiawah Island Family Vacation

We loved our stay at Seas the Day in Kiawah! Colleen, the host, was so helpful and responsive. The house is beautiful, just as described, and has every amenity needed. We enjoyed short walks to the beach, quiet time overlooking the lagoon, and hanging out playing games and cooking at the house. We hope to return one day and would love to stay at Seas the Day again!

Great visit

There were a lot of great things about this comfortable house but what stood out the most was the thought that was given to the guest experience. Arrival gift, beach chairs, beach towels, well appointed kitchen, first aid supplies in bathrooms, outdoor seating. They really did their best to think of everything that would ensure the guest had a great experience.

Seas the Day and Stay!!

We’ve been coming to Kiawah for 20+ years and this was one of our top favorite places to stay! Super easy walk or ride to the beach, friendly and quiet street, easy bike ride to Night Heron park, beautiful views from the master and sunroom. Kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful home in a great location

This was a great home for a week's vacation with our adult children. The location is perfect - backs to a lagoon and a very short walk to the beach. It was great having beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels included. We loved the huge living room tv for movie nights after long days on the beach and bike paths. The sunroom was such a cozy place to hang out with the amazing swinging couch and comfy chairs. Highly recommend this home.

Great house, convenient location, wonderfully outfitted.

The house was great- complete with a very well outfitted kitchen and awesome beach gear provided. It was so nice to come from out of town and not worry about umbrellas, chairs, and even beach towels! The kitchen was well stocked with very few additional needs and the space was great. We had 4 adults and 4 kids between 5 and 9 and didn’t lack fit any space! Colleen was great and checked in on us via email to make sure we didn’t have any needs, and we will certainly be staying here again!

Happy at Seas the Day

This lovely well appointed home on Kiawah Island was located just a short walk from the beach. The home provided all the room we needed for our family of 5 and then some. The home had all the necessities (chairs, umbrellas, beach toys etc) for a fun day at the beach. In the event of rain, there were lots of games to keep everyone busy! By far one of the nicest homes we have stayed in on Kiawah!

Classic Kiawah

What a wonderful property this was, close to the ocean and nestled under some beautiful old growth trees next to a lagoon teeming with wildlife. The kitchen was well stocked and they have a wonderful grill. There is a really nice outdoor area where we gathered after the beach. The unit was quiet and felt private backing up to the lagoon. The owner was especially friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Gorgeous Renovation!

We've stayed at Oceanwoods for years and after just spending a week at Seas the Day, we think we've found "our spot"! Really a tasteful renovation with no detail spared..deluxe mattresses, premium linens, plenty of towels..with an ideal location overlooking the lagoon. The owner could not have been more accommodating in quickly responding to our every small concern. We are happy to give this property all the stars it deserves and will definitely return.

Wonderful week at Seas The Day.

The house had everything we needed and more. We packed way more than we needed. The walk to the beach was easy and a beautiful area. We rode bikes for miles everyday. We never needed to leave the island. Everyone came home happy. Thank you Colleen for making sure we had all the information we needed and responding to questions so quickly.

Kiawah Heaven

Seas the Day was the hosting VRBO home of a very special family celebration trip. We have been coming to Kiawah for over 12 years and this property was a fabulous four-bedroom-find in the Ocean Woods neighborhood, our favorite location. Beautifully decorated and furnished, we especially loved the adorable bunk bed room used by our grandchildren and the huge swing in the sunroom. We made full use of the beautiful kitchen, as all meals were enjoyed on site. The kitchen is set up perfectly for breakfast/meal bar situations. We had brought many kitchen and bath products from home, but didn't need hardly any, as this home had it all. We made good use of the full-sized hidden washer and dryer--especially for the beautiful turkish towels provided on site. Another bonus was the gorgeous master bedroom right on the lagoon, which gave the grandkids a chance to see the resident gator from the safety of the house. Seize the Day is a Kiawah Keeper! We hope to revisit in the future!

Amazing week in Kiaway

Number One: the property was exceptionally clean. Floors, bathrooms, bedrooms were all spotless. We loved this property. The location makes it feel like a private oasis. Coffee each morning overlooking the lagoon was a perfect way to start the day. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of dishes, and cookware. All were in excellent condition. Loved the full size washer and dryer. Outside shower area was awesome when coming back from the beach. It was great to be able to get all the sand rinsed off before coming inside. Sunroom was our favorite room. What a great spot to just relax and enjoy the quiet. We can't wait to come back!!!

Wonderful property!

This beach house offers everything and somehow delivers even more! We had an amazing week at Seas the day. The location is wonderful, with being a very short walk to the beach and close to Heron Park and the sanctuary. We were a group of six adults and two children, and I was a little concerned that the living spaces would be a bit tight, but they were more than adequate. The sunroom with the swinging bed was the favorite place to hang out and play games and enjoy the view of the lagoon. We absolutely loved that we had such a scenic view from all the rooms of the house especially the master bedroom. I woke up every morning and opened all of the curtains and it was almost like you were in a treehouse. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, and had everything we needed… including all the essentials to bake cookies and cook in most nights. The beds were all very comfortable and we will be looking to book this place again!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Seas the Day. Colleen was great to work with from booking to checking in. She was great to communicate with and answered every question promptly. The home was perfect and exactly how it's listed. We have stayed in several of the Oceanwoods homes over the years and Seas the Day was the nicest by far. The additional bedroom made it ideal. All of the furnishings were high quality, with nice towels, Turkish beach towels, kitchen supplies, with coffee ready for the first morning. The sun room with the bed swing was a wonderful place for us to sit and have coffee in the morning before going to the beach. All of the furniture was comfortable and the beds were very comfortable. There are many thoughtful touches, like wireless chargers, helpful instructions, hair dryers, plenty of basic supplies, beach towels, beach chairs. This help keep our packing down which is good for over-packers. Overall, this property and owner was fantastic and we hope to stay again very soon!
