About this property

Large Modern Farmhouse -Country living at it's finest!

Large (3,200 sq. ft.) four bedroom house, with lots of room for the entire family (and extended family). Located in the middle of Kittitas County, surrounded by 40 acres of pasture- this is a great country escape. We have large south facing valley views with lots of natural light and northern views of Mission Ridge. Four large bedrooms provide comfortable sleeping arrangements. The house also has two large living areas and a separate dinning room.

Located close to Ellensburg and CWU (10 minutes), Suncadia (40 minutes), Leavenworth (1 hour) and Vantage (35 minutes). We can accommodate 10 adults with up to 2 children.

Ellensburg has 4 very distinct seasons! In the winter we can receive multiple inches/feet of snow! Spring is our windiest time (Ellensburg wind), It can break 100 degrees in the summer and, the fall is the most wonderful/colorful time of the year.

Please note: we have security cameras at each entrance of the house.

Needed a place for a family stay

We needed a place for a family stay. Our daughter got married nearby. This property is perfect for families. Very well appointed and the owner was incredibly helpful and provided excellent communication for check in. We highly recommend this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful weekend

Could not have asked for a better stay. The house is beautiful, well supplied with everything necessary, great location. Every space in the house was of great size and the back patio area was just fun for the whole group. We wish we’d found this place sooner.

We stayed here with a group of nine for our son's wedding. The home is gorgeous and well laid out. Very comfortable. Katrine (owner) is awesome and has terrific and pleasant communication. We highly recommend!

A lovely home with lots of room. Cute decor, comfortable beds with good linens, 3 gathering areas, equipped kitchen. A delightful place to watch the amazing sunrises and sunsets in a peaceful, pasture surrounded setting. Close to town. Highly recommend.

Excellent for a Family reunion!

This is definitely an exceptional property. Loved that we had the cows greeted us as we drove in. Tons of great parking and level entrance for my mom's walker. And then we walked into the most incredible farmhouse! Beautifully designed and appointed, huge kitchen area for cooking and socializing, large dining room and table, large couch for movies, big bedrooms, AC, easy back patio for morning coffee (& more cow gazing), so quiet....and the stars at night were incredible. My son got married nearby at Sweetwater Ranch and this was an excellent "hub" for family to swing through and say hi before the big event. We will rent with family again as we love Ellensburg.

Stunning!

Such a beautiful home the pictures do not do it justice! Wonderfully decorated, all amenities are included. There’s even a piano if you’re inclined to play. Katrina was an amazing host. We got to check in early and check out late! This is such a great location where it’s far enough out of town for the peace and quiet of the country but still close enough to town. We came for my nieces wedding at Sweetwater Ranch which was only ten minutes away. Oh and the cows and baby cows were so precious! We got to see them being fed last night before the wedding ♥️ If we ever venture to Ellensburg again, this will def be our go to. Thank you Katrina!

Fabulous Farmhouse

Beautiful House, Great Location

This house was beautiful, new, clean and so well laid out. We stayed here as it was 6 miles from our daughter's wedding venue. Perfect for our family as a base. The owner's were so very communicative. It made for a perfect weekend.

Spacious, clean, beautiful view, perfect!

We loved our stay at this charming and spacious farm house! It had more than enough space for all of us and our small children. The provided pack and play, crib, and twin bed were so handy for the little ones! The house was spotless and the beds were so comfy. Looking out the window and seeing the cows, barns, fields and the rolling hills of Ellensburg made us feel like we were hours away from town when, in reality, it was a quick and easy 8 minute drive. The extra living space was perfect as a place for the kids to dump out their toys and watch tv. The host was very responsive with all our questions and very helpful. We are already talking about coming back!

We are a family of 4 who love traveling! We grew up in Ellensburg and after 8 years of living in down town Seattle, we moved back "home". This house was finished in 2018 (we designed it while living in our 1100 sqf. house in Seattle, thus the big windows with LOTs of sunlight!). Our desire for our home is to be a safe place where memories can be made! We love hosting family and friends, and our house has plenty of space to have family gatherings. We currently live close by and are remodeling our family home off of the Yakima River in Thorp.

Why they chose this property

When traveling with a large family, finding enough space for everyone can be expensive and hard to find. Our hope is to be able to provide space to meet the needs of our traveling guests. Most of us have not had the opportunity to experience country living (open space with cows grazing in the field) and this property will allow guests to unwind and experience the quite open space of Kittitas County.
