Park the car and put on your flip-flops. As the name implies, this unit is a Stones Throw from the beach. This recently updated 3 bedroom 2 and 1/2 bath villa is only a short walk to Folly Field Beach. Close to the beach and the pool, you will be able to truly enjoy all that Hilton Head Island has to offer.

Everything you need is here including the "HH Island Rentals Advantage" including 4 beach chairs, a beach cart, beach towels and new kitchen amenities, salt, pepper, cooking spray and season salt.

This home feature 3 bedrooms and 2 and 1/2 baths providing ample room for up to eight guests. The adults can enjoy the king and queen beds in two of the bedrooms while the kids enjoy the bunk room with 4 twin beds. Tastefully decorated with that beach feel, you will feel like you are at your home away from home. The courtyard entry is a great place to gather and rinse off the sand. With a outside shower, you can go right from the beach to the pool or into the unit to relax. You can also grill out in the entry courtyard on the included gas grill.

Flat screen TVs are located in all of the bedrooms as well as the living area. The dining area accommodates six while there is plenty of room outside for more.
The kitchen features all the items needed to prepare your favorite meals. Microwave, oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. And if you need to do some laundry, the unit includes a full size washer and dryer on the second floor.

A wagon and beach chairs are available for use so you don't need to haul that from home. A leisure walking/bike trail is located right across the street for easy access to the beach. This beach rental has it all. Come on down and relax!

This unit is pet friendly and permits up to two dogs with a maximum weight per dog of 50 pounds per dog. The fee is $195 per stay.

It’s called Stones Throw for a reason! Not exactly a stones throw, but very close walk to the beach. The place is pretty much what you see in the pictures. Just know that it is bare bones, not even salt and pepper! Basic, basic, basic.

Property was set in a pretty setting a 5 minute walk from beach with pool across the parking lot. Unit was spacious and ideal for a family. Only negatives were a few very minor maintenance items needing repair and a couple of spots in unit could have been a little cleaner - note - the unit was generally clean and maintenance items had no effect on our stay

Our stay at Stone’s Throw

This townhouse was in a wonderful location. It is a short walk to the beach, mini golf and also a sports bar. We loved having the private courtyard and out door patio. It was nice to have 2.5 bathrooms. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. The pool area was relaxing and pet walking areas with pet waste stations were provided for pet owners. We really our enjoyed stay.

Excellent location for those wanting to walk along/sit on a quiet beach. Free trolley stop and walking/bike paths just outside Villas.Family / pet friendly. Home was well stocked with basic necessities for home, bbq, beach. TVs worked. Beds were great. Living room/dining area more than adequate.Only negative be would be that the home was a bit worn, but still very acceptable. Would I rebook in the future? Yes.

Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend with our two Vizslas with great walks on the beach. It was such an easy walk and we enjoyed using the beach wagon that was provided. The complex is dog friendly with both year around residents and vacationers like us.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Folly Field. The location was great - maybe a 6-7 minute walk to the beach and right across from the pool. The owners provided extra paper products and towels. The kitchen had just about everything that we needed! The outside shed had plenty of chairs, a wagon, and sand toys. We took advantage of the outdoor shower! We would have appreciated if the floors were cleaner. After 20 minutes of running around barefoot, our children had black feet on the first day. We were grateful for the use of the washer and dryer which worked just fine. However, it may be helpful to note that the dryer is pretty loud and after using it the first time, we realized we needed to use it during the day or it was too loud when putting children to bed at night. This place had enough room for our two little families!

We called the renter and told him the TV didn’t work and he said he was busy and could not help us. Then when we left the owner claimed we broke the TV and wanted a new one at our expense. He had forced us to buy an insurance policy prior to renting it obviously knowing he would later claim the TV was broken.

Great place and location!

This property was absolutely great! The townhouse was very clean and looked to be recently updated! There were lots of extras that where included with this rental that normally you don’t find (gas grill, beach chairs, tons of extra things in the kitchen to make your stay easier, and the seemingly unlimited supply of towels)! Plus the location is great too! Only a 4 minute walk to the beach, a 2 minute walk to the sports bar/restaurant Coconuts directly across the street had great food. Overall a great place to stay in Hilton head!

Love the proximity to the beach. Unit was great for us and our black lab. Everything you need for a beach trip, beach cart and comfortable chairs the hot and cold shower in the entry courtyard is fabulous. The unit has both Keurig and drip coffee pots, which is nice. Unit was very clean and bed was very comfortable, bathrooms all beautifully updated and had soaps and lotions. Rob, was very helpful and responded immediately to a couple of questions we had.. We will be back.
