Had a great time staying here. Has everything you need. The property has a big property with fire pit and also along a river to hang at. Quiet and peaceful to relax and get away from life. Went to Warren to ride on the Atv trails. Great location for this. This was our second time at this location. Would go there again.
We skied Loon, just 30 minutes from this cozy home. It met all of our needs and host was very accommodating. Wish we had more time here to explore the Warren area, will be back!
The farmhouse was great. We spent time on the porch and at the fire pit out back. The house was clean and depicted as listed. The hosts were attentive and made the check in/ check out process painless.
We stayed for a couple nights. The home was wonderful, comfortable, clean and well stocked. The location was close to amenities and eats. Communication was also excellent. Should we ever find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely stay again.
Very much enjoyed our stay. Exactly what one would expect from a getaway out in the country. The yard, fire pit, porch, and grill filled our weekend nicely. The living room is perfect for some rainy day board games.
This property was tremendous. For a person who has a hard time relaxing, it was the perfect place. You just want to go with the flow here. Such a good vibe. We will go back for our next vacation.

Beautiful property. Restful and peaceful location. Loved the creek in the back. So serene. Truly a rustic farmhouse! The posted pictures of the inside of the house were not quite as expected. Several decorations were left throughout that did not lend themselves to a neutral environment. Felt overwhelmed by the number of religions statues and objects.
My daughter and I stayed at this VRBO in order to attend the 10th Anniversary celebrations at Tomten Farm & Sanctuary, located in Haverhill. We all very much enjoyed our stay - our black Lab adored the enormous yard (complete with flowing stream!) Drinking coffee out on the welcoming deck and listening to the early AM birdsong was another highlight. It was easy to find and had everything we needed (and more!). I can highly recommend this property and these hosts. :)
We enjoyed our stay in this neat, nicely updated farm house. The owner and a neighbor where both very kind and responsive when we managed to lock ourselves out!
My only note is bring a baby gate for little ones to block the stairs and perhaps consider some safer kid proof storage for cleaning supplies. That said, the kids loved the yard and all it had to offer. Would definitely stay here again.
Farmhouse was well maintained and cozy. I enjoyed spending time in the living room watching a few movies on the large tv while it rained outside.
The window AC unit in the living room puts out a lot of cool air which was great considering how warm and humid it was outside. Upstairs can get a little warm but by running the window fan you can get it to a comfortable temp.
Overall it was a great stay and I enjoyed it here a lot. Area felt safe too.
It basically rained the few days we were there, it was also quite a distance to any restaurants, there were two within 10 miles and both were closed 😔
House was decorated so nice, and owners were very pleasant and easy to reach/talk with
Lots LOTS of loud traffic on the very busy main road.
Beds were nice and comfortable, clean linens and towels (no washcloths?)
Refrigerator had a bad musty odor, there was a lot of mold in the rubber seal that could be culprit. Not sure I’d stay here again for a few reasons
This was just what our family needed. A place to relax and reset. The house is adorable and beautifully decorated. The yard is more than you can imagine HUGE with a stream running through through the back right behind the tree line. Hanging outside on the deck was my favorite, surrounded by an impressive assortment of plants, flowers, and wild birds. We brought a yard stake and a VERY long lead so our dog could enjoy the yard as well, wich worked out perfectly. We brought the kids bikes and they were able to bike down to Moosetracks (i think that was the name of it) a local ice cream shop near the rocket. Behind that was a fun playground the kids enjoyed.Walmart, Marshalls, Hannaford's, and Market basket are all about a 25 min driveWe took a couple of day trips to the lost river, and the polar caves that our 11 and 12 yr old kids LOVED! Did some fishing and exploring in the River. All in all we had an absolutely WONDERFUL vacation andplan to come back again!
Simple getaway. My sister and I had a relaxing stay catching up and enjoying each other's company.
The property is quaint, the house charming with thoughtful touches to add comfort. The is spacious yard bringing visitors right to the river. Unfortunately due to the rocky banks and overgrown banks of the river we were not able to walk along the shore or in the woods. There were no apparent paths. The road was noisier and faster than expected. The speed limit is low but it didn't seem many drivers took note! The photo online is taken from the edge of the road; whereas I though it was taken from a field or extended dirt drive.
