The home was exactly as described in a historic district of Astoria. It is on a busy main road, so expect the city experience of lots of traffic & people. Home was very comfortable with well furnished porch with sunset view, LR, DR and kitchen. There are two flights of stairs to the door, and another flight to the two bedrooms & bath upstairs, but it's all part of the home's historic character. Decor is lovely & fitting. Many things to do downtown, but have to drive and find parking. The Maritime Museum was excellent with a great gift shop and an educational kid oriented shop. Short driving distance to the excellent Fort Clatsop Lewis & Clark visitor center. Glad we stayed for 3 nights.

Really liked the spacious well stocked kitchen, had a under thr sink water leak, which Claudine came that same day with the plumer and fixed it. Main bathroom upstsirs eith shower, slso well stocked, could use non slip mat. Hide a bed in living room was the most comfortsble bed ever. TV was great, we wstched one movie. The location was close to almost everything we wanted to go and check out. Great view from front porch. Plenty of seating in kitchen so we could all visit while cooking, there was a large dining room and table we didnt need.

Beautiful home with a beautiful view. Traffic from the bridge and main road were loud at times, but we had a wonderful time there. The sun porch was such a great place to play cards and have coffee.

The rental was cute, clean and comfortable. We especially liked the view from the porch. We sat out there each night for a bit and reflected on the day (and whatnot .. LOL) while watching the beautiful colors from the sunset. We also loved the large dining table which allowed us to play games in the evening after it got dark. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience on our 3rd "Annual Cousin's Weekend".

I was very surprised at the steps leading to unit and steps leading to bedroom . They were steep. I am 80 years old and just didn’t expect this. My six foot son whacked his head on interior overhead on stairway. It was as described but the steps were enough of an issue that a heads up would have been wise. It also is on a busy roadway with the front bedroom especially noisy.
