This is a really comfortable place that works well for large or small groups. It’s full of local art and the furniture and beds are comfy. We spent a week in Astoria over spring break, and there was plenty to do despite it being the off season.
Couldn’t have been more excited to have found this place. It has gorgeous views, is super spacious and clean and has a delightful host. I will have to look for more excuses to come back to Astoria just so I can stay here again.
Amazing place with incredible views and perfect host
I visited with three colleagues for a workshop in Astoria. This place is so nice, with a great view overlooking the river and four bedrooms. The bed I was in was super comfortable. One person brought their spouse, so they took the master suite downstairs and the rest of us each had a perfect spot upstairs. We enjoyed eating breakfast and visiting together in the evenings. I would do my very best to make sure I could stay here again if I'm ever back in Astoria.
We had a great stay in Astoria. Amy was a great hostess and tended to our needs while giving us space to enjoy family. House was beautiful with great views of the river. You are right in the middle of all that Astoria has to offer. We would definitely stay here again.
Amy's place is lovely! Amazing views, very comfortable, stocked with everything you could need and in a great location. It was a wonderful place to spend time with family!
The property feels more like a home away from home than a rental. It’s warm & cozy with a fully equipped kitchen, that even had the pantry stocked with all the basics (olive oil, flour, sugar, salt & pepper, etc). The host was amazingly kind and helpful! The location perfect for a quick hop into town, and views over the water are so pretty. We will be back!!!
We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful VROB home, and it exceeded all expectations! The kitchen is absolutely fantastic—fully equipped with all the necessary appliances, drinkware, dishes, and essentials. From the moment we opened the door until our departure, it truly felt like our home away from home. The property is incredibly comfortable, with well-appointed furniture, modern appliances, and exceptionally comfortable beds. It provided the perfect retreat after a day on the Columbia River. The warm, inviting atmosphere made it easy to relax and unwind. One of the standout features of this home is the breathtaking view. Overlooking the Columbia River, the views and scenery are unmatched in any home we've had the pleasure of visiting. Whether relaxing on the front porch or sitting around the living/dining area, it was always warm and comfortable, and it felt like our very own property. The host was terrific, providing exceptional service from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, checking in with us several times to make sure everything was in order and offering local recommendations. It was clear they genuinely cared about creating a memorable experience.
We had the best experience staying in this absolutely lovely home with a great view of the Columbia River. The host could not have been better. Everything was so comfortable and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again.
Beautiful home with everything you need to have the perfect stay in Astoria. Amy is an incredible host and ensures you are perfectly welcomed into her home. The view from just about every window of this home has incredible views of the water, the big ships coming and going, along with the amazing sky lit up at night as the sun sets. You can also see the Goonies house and the school from Kindergarden Cop right outside the windows. We enjoyed the stay comfortably with 6 people, and a 7th joined us one night. there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out or to be as close as you like. You can walk to a fun pier with shops and coffee/cafe and are a quick drive to all the fun of downtown. The house itself is quiet. The faint sounds of the barking seals can be heard and the host provided earplugs on night stands but they were not needed. All and all, a great trip to a great house. We are already planning a return trip!
The house was amazing. Very clean and spacious. The host was very kind and accommodating. I would recommend staying here and would stay again if I'm in the area.
Excellent and comfortable large house with plenty of extra room. Beautiful neighborhood and views of Columbia river and mountains. Quiet despite being in town and walkable to almost everything Astoria has to offer.
This is my second time staying in this wonderful rental, and again it was a fabulous experience. Amy is great host, and her place is clean, charming, spacious and with phenomenal views. Hope to come back again in the future!
The house was the perfect vibe for my daughter’s bachelorette get together with Me (her Mom), sister, cousin and 3 best friends. The house is perfect open concept for our group with a gorgeous view. The house is stocked with everything you would need for cooking, eating, etc. Amy, the host, greeted us and was quick to respond to any questions we may have had. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! I would definitely stay there again!
I have rented several properties through VRBO. Amy was the best host we have ever encountered. She was very responsive, helpful and went beyond our expectations. Her home is a beautiful, well kept and very comfortable! Would definitely stay here again
If you're going to Astoria, and you've got a crew, this is a perfect place to land. Gorgeous old Astoria home with an incredible view of the river and a stone's throw from Pier 39 (fabulous coffee shop, Rogue, fish market etc.) Everyone loved it!
We came to Astoria with family to attend a wedding. This home was perfect for the six of us. Lots of space for all of us. The view of the river and all the ships coming and going entertained us all. Thank you Amy for being the perfect Host. The Goonies house close by was a bonus!
We loved this beautiful house! It was so comfortable and well furnished, and had gorgeous views of the river. Amy was a wonderful host. She made us welcome and was available for questions and recommendations. We would go back in a minute!!
The property is well maintained and spacious with lots of seating, comfortable furniture, and an excellent view from the living room. It's located in a quiet residential area (aside from hearing the sea lions down by the river), though was still close enough to conveniently reach most of the attractions in Astoria. The host was friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed staying at the property.
When you walk in the door you will be wowed, by the view and the spaciousness. We were a family of 6, visited by 2 more living in town and it accommodated us nicely. The kitchen and dining room have everything you could possibly need if dining in interests you. The house is charming and quiet. It’s clean and well kept, with Amy, the host, trying to think of everything to make your stay pleasant. It’s 5 minutes from downtown Astoria so close to everything. We loved staying there.
Roomy and cozy. Wonderful amenities as well as decor.
