This charming and extremely welcoming home has been decorated with an interior style that is unique and personal. Your host is very warm and friendly, who takes hospitality standards to the next level with every little detail taken care of from plenty of towels to all kitchen essentials.
It is a full 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom place with King beds in both bedrooms (which is an American Queen bed). There is seating for 6 people at the stunning dining table as well as lots of comfortable seating in the open plan living area.
High speed Wifi is provided as well as all sheets and towels for your stay. We have an umbrella should you need one for the cooler months and AC for the summer :)
While Camberwell isn't considered a central London location, it's ideal for those travellers who want a peaceful place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle, and who want to experience more of the local London life. There are excellent bus transport links to the City, Oxford St, Southbank or to Dulwich. You are also only a short walk to Burgess Park or to Brixton which has the famous market and loads of nightlife offerings!
Camberwell has leafy streets of Georgian townhouses and a busy high street where chicken shops sit happily alongside gastro pubs and hipster cafes - this is a vibrant and friendly neighbourhood with a real sense of self. It is home to a diverse multicultural community, numerous students from the nearby art school, as well as affluent families attracted by the large period townhouses that are slightly more affordable here than in other more central parts of town.
Along Church Street, the main artery that runs through Camberwell to Peckham, a number of pop-ups, charming pubs (Camberwell Arms is our favourite), small galleries and trendy cafés have appeared. The brilliant South London Gallery has an always critically-acclaimed programme of Contemporary Art Exhibitions and is well worth checking out.

It was our second visit in 2 years and once again it was perfect. This time we took the time to enjoy the restaurants in the neighborhood around the flat and we made some great discoveries.
My friend and I were visiting from the US and had a great stay. It’s a lovely big apartment with a large living area, and just as described on the listing.
Comms were great, and the location is just by several bus routes, convenient for the city.
This apartment was perfect for our London family vacation. It was super easy to get a bus to wherever we needed to go. The kids enjoyed the playground across the street and we were able to walk to shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Communication was friendly and quick and directions were clear. It was just as described and we enjoyed our time there.
We had trouble with a flight and asked if we could come earlier, our host, thankfully, accommodated us! The check in was great. Easy access to transit, nice restaurants near by. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a different experience in London.
From the moment I booked this adorable flat Hannah was great at communicating. They answered every question we had! She was awesome to work with. The flat was so nice and exactly like the pictures. You'll love your stay there if you book it. I highly recommend!
The flat is great, very well equiped and clean. Perfect size for 4. ACs were much more appreciated in bedrooms and in the main area.

About the location, 30mn from downtown by bus, several options direct lines. And you have a great and big-enough park close to the flat for a morning run.

We are four adults over 50 who like to have lots of comforts and lots of fun. We were very happy with the place - everything we needed was provided, place was very clean and comfortable - pictures were very accurate. We had a great time in the neighborhood as well as throughout the city by using the buses at the doorstep. We all recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Thank you!
Very large apartment with buses line going everywhere in London. A taste of the real life in London. The owner is very thoughtful with charger for your phone and IPad next to the bed.

The apartment was adorable and had all the amenities we needed. When we got there someone was waiting for us to show us all the things the apartment had. The apartment owner was super helpful and very quick to respond. Several busses around the area and lots of shops to explore. Very busy during the week on the bus so next time we will use the cabs. The apartment is modern, clean, large, stylish, comfortable, new, well equipped and well located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return to it. It is located in a bustling friendly neighborhood with an interesting history, close to a village green (with a playground) , a sweet library (with programs for children), convenient shops, many foodie restaurants. Several bus lines to central London have stops close by. (It takes about half an hour to arrive at Trafalgar Square) Access to the building is simple, and there is a convenient elevator always available. Hannah, the property manager, responds quickly and is very helpful. If I could give this place a rating higher than five stars, I would.

The flat is spacious and really well-equipped. We've stayed in several in London and this is one of the best. The bedrooms have North American queen size beds and the living area (lounge and kitchen) has everything you could possibly need, and then some! Many bus routes pass nearby and it is easy to get to tourist locations. There are a few grocery shops within easy walking distance, including a Tesco Express right across the street that has fresh chocolate croissants in the morning. Our most frequent route into the City took a half hour bus ride from the flat. It's obvious this is a flat owned and loved by its owners, not just a rental property. And the property manager for the owners is responsive and easy to deal with. We stayed nine nights in late December and January.

We had a great stay! My wife, me, and two friends. Hannah and Nichola were very responsive and super friendly. The property was awesome...newly remodeled building and modern designs. The neighborhood was convenient. We were a little worried about street noise as we kept the windows open for cool breezes at night but around 10pm the neighborhood just kind of went to sleep. Noise while we slept wasn't a problem at all. The bus stop outside the building got us anywhere we needed to go. Definitely download CityMapper to figure out the bus and rail options (thanks for that tip, Hannah!). In a word... outstanding! Would definitely consider this property again!

Our family fully enjoyed staying at Hannah's apartment! It was very comfortable in all ways, nicely decorated, well stocked with kitchen items, towels and blankets, etc, and otherwise incredibly easy and welcoming to be our home base for the week. The dining area was beautiful in the morning sun and provided a good view of the activity of the community.
Police and emergency vehicle sirens were frequent during the day but never were an issue at night. The building felt safe and secure while not being tedious to get in and out of. It was great to have a washer/dryer in the apartment but the process is not a quick one and a little confusing if you haven't used this type of single unit.
It is a great location to experience a south London neighborhood while being quite accessible to regional sights and experiences. Buses service the area very frequently, small markets are numerous for groceries, restaurants and pubs and cafes are close by, and the "Midnight Munchies" spot across the street is great for an end of day treat. We enjoyed getting high-end goodies from "Gladwells", awesome breakfast scones from "Grove Lane Deli" and breakfast at "Brunchies." The "Tesco" market across the street had almost anything we needed otherwise.
We highly recommend the apartment!
