A spectacular view of the ocean, West Maui mountains, Ma'alaea Bay, and the beautiful, landscaped grounds await you from our direct oceanfront condo lanai. With our condo being a direct oceanfront unit, the sunsets from the lanai are amazing. While relaxing on the lanai after enjoying the many amenities of the beautiful island of Maui, you will also be able to view the whales breaching during whale season, kite surfers, and outrigger canoes. KOA Lagoon has only 42 units which makes it less congested, providing a relaxing atmosphere. An elevator services the six floors.

Our two bedroom, two-bathroom unit has tile floors throughout, providing a clean inviting atmosphere. Our kitchen is well furnished for those who prefer to cook/BBQ at the condo and enjoy the spectacular views from the lanai.

Koa lagoon is located 15 minutes from the Kahului airport and just minutes from seven world class golf courses, many beautiful beaches, shopping centers and restaurants.

This is a non smoking unit/lanai, located in a Designated Smoke-free Property which does NOT have any designated smoking areas on its' property.

Amazing sunsets!!

Great Location, Great Views

We were so happy with our stay. The location is perfect. Great sunset views and not long drive to shopping and shave ice. The beach in font of the condo is great for seeing turtles and getting in to the water, even if it is not the best for snorkeling. We will definitely keep this on the list for a return visit.

Family vacation

My family of 4 had a great time at this rental property. My kids enjoyed the pool, and we had a beautiful view of the beach and water. The apartment is nicely decorated, and the air conditioning worked well. This is right on the beach and close to many shops in the Kihei area. It is also a reasonable distance to most of the tourist areas on the West side of Maui.

This property is just steps from the ocean. It is a spacious condo with plenty of space throughout. The kitchen was well stocked and there were the extras (beach chairs, umbrella, cooler) that make the stay even better. Good communication with owners.

Absolutely gorgeous view!

The pictures of the view don't do it justice! I don't know how many times we stood in the kitchen and commented on how much we loved the view as we looked out those big windows! And that was just from the kitchen, it was even better in the living area, dining room and lanai! Sunsets were phenomenal!

Lovely location

We have stayed here several times. Great location. Easy access to beach, turtles,nice walks, ancient restored fishpond, Whale center nearby. Sunset view. Roomy. Large lanai. Floors always make your feet dirty but this can be a windy area so hard to keep floors clean.

We always appreciate our guests' comments as they allow us an opportunity to improve our furnishings and or cleaning process. This guest's comment regarding the floors is due to the winds we get in this area at times and the lanai doors are left open. We cannot control the weather but our cleaning service mops and sanitizes the floor with each of their cleanings. Guests can request daily maid service for an additional charge or use the floor swiffer we provide in the unit. We always take our guests comments seriously and take action to resolve the concerns. Our direct oceanfront unit provides easy access to many beach activities.. Our large lanai affords beautiful views and room for relaxing.

Great Location/Unit and Well Stocked

My family and I had an amazing stay here. The unit is much better than the photos show. Kitchen came well stocked with equipment for us to make our own food for meals when we didn’t eat out. At the time of our stay there was beach towels, beach chairs, pool noodle, plus even more things that may benefit others. AC’s kept the room cool when we wanted. There are 3 separate AC’s. 1 per each bedroom and 1 for the living area. All worked well and we often turned them off in the evening and opened the lanai doors to let the trade winds keep us cool. The Lanai had plenty of space with a great view and the beach just below never really got busy as it was mainly locals and others in the same building. If you want a chill beach day it’s only steps away from the room. Great location made nothing on the island too far away. Host was responsive with clear and simple instructions on check-in and out. I would recommend this location for anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Maui.

The condo was perfect for our family. The balcony had a beautiful ocean view. I really enjoyed watching the rowers and paddle boarders in the morning. A second full bath is a must with two teen girls. The location was close to everything in south Maui and it didn’t take us too long to visit other parts of the island. The hosts were very accommodating as well. We were able to use their beach chairs, towels, and coolers, so we didn’t have to rent them. They had excellent communication and even shared advice on where to snorkel. I owe them a huge THANK YOU!!!! We are used to AC at home and did use it in the bedrooms at night; however, it’s really not needed because the winds keep everything very cool and comfortable and the condo has many windows. We didn’t use it much in the kitchen and living rooms although it was available. Speaking of these rooms, they are very large and bright and you can see the ocean from anywhere in them. We are already planning a return trip to Maui and would definitely love to stay in this same condo again. Thank you again to our hosts!

Kihei Aug 7-13

The property was conveniently located with ample parking. It was also easy to add a day to ensure we had a "home base" before our very late flight out on Sat. The pool was nice and the beach was right next to us! During our stay there were wildfires all over the island, including the devastating Lahaina fire. Although we hope this is an once in a lifetime emergency, when we saw first hand the fire in Kihei from the condo, we were not sure how to avoid the smoke entering the condo due to some of the window styles. We were super glad we were able to watch the news and internet for evacuation notices. But if the power/internet went out we wouldn't have known where the evacuation centres are or what was going on. Just glad Kihei was safe. All things considered we enjoyed our stay. We pray for a smooth recovery in Maui. Thank you

Perfect location and view but unclean

The location was perfect and quiet. The location was away from the busy touristy part of the island but definitely close enough to visit. Beaches were very quiet and secluded which we loved. The view from the condo is breathtaking!!! Turtles were up by shore and condo had beach chairs and umbrellas for us to use. Cons: not clean and dingy furniture. Master bedroom shower was very slippery and needs a deep cleaning and nonslip stickers. Everything needs a good cleaning! Kitchen cabinets were gross and sticky. Furniture and pillows looked and felt grungy and needs replacing. The master bedroom air conditioning blows right on your head. Suggest moving furniture around so thats not the case. This place has great potential to be a great vacation rental with some fresh paint, furniture and a deep cleaning, but as it is now I would not rent it again.

Even though this is the first review regarding the condition of the furniture, we of course will assess the need to upgrade furniture. We want our condo to meet or exceed every ones expectations.

What a view! This is a clean open condo with a spectacular view. The hosts gave clear instructions and getting in was seamless. Only minutes to resturants and shopping. We even had a sea turtle come right up on the beach.

Loved the easy self check-in. It was also very thoughtful for the owners to stock the place with the little things: - Kitchen: ziploc bacgs, basic powdered seasonings, all the appliances you could need while on holiday - Personal-care items: sunblock, body lotion, hair dryer - Beach items: cooler, mat, chairs, umbrella - Household: all the linens you could need Having a washer-dryer was VERY convenient. Great Location and great ocean view!

We really loved our stay at KOA lagoon! The beach access along with the beach and water amenities were a great surprise. The view was fantastic as well! Our only minor complaints would be the shower conditions in the master bathroom. It definitely needs to be fixed and/or updated. But overall, it’s a great place and we definitely plan on coming back.

Perfect!

We enjoyed our stay. It’s close to the airport and shopping. The property was well kept. The pool was very nice but we spent most of the time in the ocean. The beach directly in front was almost like a private beach. Remember to bring water shoes- it is a little rocky to go barefoot. The condo was very clean and well equipped. The view from the big balcony was stunning. We arrived after dark and couldn’t see anything but could hear the ocean. When we woke up, walked into the living room and saw beauty before us we were bowled over and in awe. Its a favorite memory. We would definitely stay here again.
