Newly Renovated Home in Ocean Ridge

3 bedroom. 2.5 bath, with inviting front porch with rockers, relaxing screened in back porch, and a third sun porch.

This beautiful, newly renovated home sits at the end of a private cul-de-sac. Located at the corner of holes 1,2,3 and 4 of the famed Plantation Course. This immaculate house is newly furnished throughout.

The Master Suite welcomes you to a good night sleep with a King Bed and plenty of closet space. A large private master bath with his and her sinks and vanities and custom built in shower.

The upstairs hosts 2 large bedrooms. Each bedroom has 1 queen bed and 1 full bed, and plenty of closet space. Upstairs also has a Large full bath with full tub and shower and new vanity.

Custom kitchen with granite countertops comes fully equiped with plenty of utensils and new stainless appliances. The kitchen has bar area with seating. Open layout leads to large dining area with table to comfortably seat 6.

Very large family room with full size couch, love seat, recliner and flat screen TV where you can watch your shows, play games, or unwind and enjoy the company. An electric fire place provides warmth and coziness in the winter. Also a twin size day bed in the living room provides extra seating or sleeping.

Laundry room has full size washer and dryer.

Under the house there is plenty of sitting area for games, bird or deer watching, and unwinding after a day of golf or the beach. An outdoor shower and dressing area for washing the sand off after a day of fun in the sun.

Ocean Ridge is a small gated community that offers golf, tennis, and recreation. Guest paid amenities include 3 pools, tennis, pickle ball, work out facility, beach cabana with toilets/shower, bike rentals, water sports all available to guests for a fee. See the recreation center or Waters Edge Cafe for the latest schedule and costs. (these are not included in the price of the home rental, it is an extra cost incurred by the guest).

As with most Edisto rental properties, towels, bed sheets, pillow cases (linens) are NOT provided. If you do not want to bring your own linens, the cleaning service will provide for an extra fee. Contact owners for current pricing. Also, Edisto Essentials, locally on the beach island, rents linens.

Absolutely NO pets, no smoking, and house will only be rented to responsible adult guests.

Ideal Edisto Beach stay!

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was convenient and comfortable. The backyard lagoon was amazing with the egrets and turtles and alligators. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our family beach trip. Thank you!!

Best non-beach-front view in Edisto

This house is amazing! We enjoyed mornings on the back porch, a short drive to the beach, and the cleanliness of the property. Lots of cool wildlife nearby--deer, turtles, egrets, herons, and alligators!

Perfect long weekend

We are giving this home a perfect rating. This was our first time visiting Edisto Island. We only had time for a long weekend, but the place was perfect and we were sad to leave. Communications with the host were timely and super helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Oasis in SC

This house and our stay was absolutely amazing! We left the location. The lagoon outback was our absolute favorite every morning and evening. Seeing all the wildlife around was perfect for the kids as well as kept the adults entertained. The check in/check out process were super easy. Communication was always on point with the property owner as well! I highly recommend everything about this place!

Great family vacation

The screened porch and attached patio was probably our favorite part of the house. We spent many mornings watching the various wildlife in the private lagoon from those spots. Love the open feeling of the main living/dining/kitchen area. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals during our stay. We also used the grill & blackstone underneath the house. The outdoor shower area came in handy after trips to the beach. We chose to bring our own sheet sets & towels rather than rent. I want to point out that also includes handtowels and washcloths. There was plenty of room for 4 adults & 2 older children in this house. We would like to stay here again!

Beautiful Retreat with Nature Views

My husband and I stayed a week at the end of April in this beautiful home on Edisto. The house itself is beautifully decorated and extremely functional. The master suite is very comfortable with a large bathroom (twin sinks were great!) and a large walk in shower with a multiple shower heads. I loved the rain head.The kitchen was well equipped with the pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses, cups, silverware, and small appliances we needed. My favorite house feature was the screened-in porch that connected to the master suite through the bathroom and thru the kitchen/dining room. This connected to a sunning deck off the living room.But our most favorite feature of this property was the view across a narrow lagoon to a snowy egret rookery. We loved watching these gorgeous birds as they flew around during the day and settled down at dusk. This was a wonderful base for our week in the Low Country, and we look forward to returning next year.Greg is a very responsive host, answering our inquiries before we arrived. (Nothing was amiss while we were there so there was no need to contact him then.)

Amazing View of Lagoon full of Wildlife!

This property gave us a front-row seat to a fantastic show of egrets, herons, and other birds. Alligators, as well! We plan to be back.

The owner was very informative, quick response via email, really flexible! We had a big mama gator come up on the bank behind the house, also baby gators! We were scared but also amazed! Will definitely stay here again in the future!!

Beautiful nature experience.

The stay here was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed seeing all the birds roosting in the trees behind us. Also a peek at a large alligator and lots of deer. Would definitely rent this place again.

Great rental

This is a fantastic house with everything our group needed. It’s just a short ride to the beach and we could walk to the dock for sunset. The screen porch is perfect for watching golfers, enjoying a rain storm, or nature watching. We even had a visit from a baby alligator who climbed out of the lagoon to sunbathe. Comfortable and clean!

Amazing wildlife! Don't forget to bring your own linens.

The house was beautiful far surpassing what we expected for a beach. The wildlife was amazing including alligators, a huge nesting of egrets, lots of deer including bucks, and turtles. The ping pong table was a big hit with the grandkids and was well used. There was plenty of room to store bikes under the house. The shower under the house was useful and keeping sand out of the house. We did not read the contract carefully and so not having linens was problematic. The owner was very responsive to our request but linens and towels were expensive and we chose not to rent. We needed to do some cleanup in the kitchen when we arrived. Overall, we really enjoyed this vacation.
