About this property
Summer White Mountain Getaway Monthly
Open downstairs great room with fireplace, comfy living room furniture, fully furnished kitchen. Private patio off the dining room.
All bedrooms upstairs. Master bedroom ensuite.
Close to the clubhouse equipped with large indoor jacuzzi and exercise equipment. Outdoor heated pool available in summer. Volleyball court.
Property backs up to hiking trails and national forest. Close to dining and shopping.
Numerous lakes for boating and fishing in the area, skiing just 30 minutes away at Sunrise Ski Park, hunting, multiple golf courses, mountain bike riding.
At 7000 ft elevation a great summer get-a-away, beautiful fall colors and great winter sports.
Temperatures in the Arizona White Mountains average 25 to 30 degrees lower than those found in the Phoenix and Tucson desert areas, making for a cool escape from valley heat. Stay by the month.
Coming to fish? You’re in the right place! Most lakes and streams have trout species including rainbow, brown, and brook, but there are other species as well. Many of the lake areas have campgrounds, well-maintained picnic facilities, hiking trails, small convenience stores, equipment rental, and docks or shorelines for launching kayaks, paddleboards, or canoes. Many White Mountain lakes impose a 10-horsepower limit for boats with gas-driven motors, and most prohibit swimming, though there are exceptions. Be sure to check the rules for a particular lake before launching a motorized boat, or diving in for a few laps around the perimeter.
Guest will need to submit a registration form listing each guest and identifying the vehicle as required by the HOA. As a gated community, this is monitored for the safety of all. As well, the HOA Rules and Regulations must be agreed to be followed.

About the host
Hosted by James Baker and Sharlene Lindskog Baker (520) 289-0858

Jim and I are Arizonans and love both the desert and the mountains. We are rockhounds and love our lapidary hobby now in retirement. We love hiking in search of another pretty rock and enjoy all the views nature offers.
Our mountain home is our retreat from the desert and our desert home our retreat from the mountains.
We live in Tucson surrounded by the Catalina Mountains and Rincon Mountains.

What makes this property unique
We fell in love with our mountain home as it offered so much in amenities for us and the HOA takes very good care of the grounds and community. It is a gated community. Quiet and back from the main road, yet quick access to shopping and lots of activities.
