Perfect place for us!

My son and I stayed here for a University of Alabama football game. It suited our needs perfectly- clean, spacious, close to restaurants and good proximity to the stadium. We really enjoyed our weekend - thank you!

Wonderful House for the weekend...

This was the perfect hosue for the weekend. We visited our daughter at UA for parents weekend. Super close to campus and all shopping needs. Definately our go to rental when visiting.

Graduation stay

I completely enjoyed the stay. The house contained all that I could possibly want with towels, sheets, a hairdryer, coffee in each room, and much more! If I had to return to Tuscaloosa, I would definitely look into the availability of this property again.

Cozy house and a great host!

We were in town to see the University of Alabama and took in a football game. The town is great and Melissa was an awesome host. The house was cozy in a quiet neighborhood a few miles from downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Melissa.

Much better than a hotel

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend to attend the Iron Bowl. Staying in a home vs a hotel is a game changer. We enjoyed being able to have a kitchen at our disposal and to watch additional games on the home’s large TV that weekend. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Host was easy to communicate with and helpful. Would stay here again.

Great for Game Day

We had a small group who were visiting our kids at U of A. We stayed 4 days. It was a short drive to the stadium. Short drive to take out food. The house has a fun backyard and a large living room where we could all watch games on Sunday.

PERFECT GETAWAY

Everything was great with the exception of the backyard. It was a bit disorganized and the grill grates were rusted but we purchased a grill brush and just cooked in foil pans. the outside could have been tidied up a bit but everything on the inside was as described and we greatly enjoyed our stay for our daughters graduation! ROLL TIDE!

Don’t stay here

Place was not very clean. Floors were filthy. They need mopped really bad. When you showered the amount of black material that came off your feet was disgusting Towels, bedding, ottoman and floor in one bedroom had what we believed to be feces on them when they were supposed to be clean. Owner took zero responsibility. She implied it came from us and her suggestion was for us to leave.

Despite what this guest states, it is believed none of it is true. To satisfy this guest complaint, my FIRST SUGGESTION was to send the cleaning person back out to check on and fix what they believed to be an issue. The guest turned this suggestion down, leading me to further believe there was no “sanitary” issue. My NEXT SUGGESTION at the direction of VRBO was to advise the guest to contact customer service to be relocated. The guest ALSO turned this suggestion down, yet continued to complain. Upon asking the guest for a solution request, I was told they didn’t have a solution. Based on the fact that my previous ratings for this property are excellent AND the fact that my experienced cleaning crew always do the best job they possibly can, I would NEVER want guests to stay in a situation that they complain is dirty and unsanitary. I think my 6 year straight positive history speaks for itself, and I am glad I was able to host during such a happy and wonderful event in the city.
