About the host
Hosted by Steven Kenny
I’m originally from the North Shore of Massachusetts, and I’m a real estate agent. My wife, who is a nurse, and I have a baby and a dog, and our family loves to travel. We've had the opportunity to explore 20 different countries, and Japan, Italy, and Colombia hold a special place in our hearts as our top three travel destinations.
Despite our love for travel, there's something about the White Mountains of New Hampshire that truly feels like home. It’s why we decided to purchase our first short-term rental here. We wanted to share this beautiful area with others while creating a peaceful and memorable getaway.
Alongside being a host, I also work as a property manager, helping other hosts maximize their revenue and manage their properties effectively. This allows me to ensure that every guest has the best possible experience during their stay. We understand the importance of hospitality and strive to make every stay special, whether it's through personalized recommendations or ensuring that your time in the White Mountains is nothing short of unforgettable.
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because it truly feels like our dream home. Nestled right on the beautiful Saco River in the heart of the White Mountains, this location offers the perfect combination of natural beauty and tranquility. The sound of the river flowing just outside our door and the peaceful atmosphere make it a place we can truly escape to. Our family spends so much time here, whether it's floating down the river on warm summer days, exploring the nearby trails, or simply enjoying the serene surroundings.
What we love most about this area is the balance of outdoor adventure and relaxation it provides. In the summer, the river offers endless opportunities for kayaking, fishing, and tubing, while the surrounding mountains are perfect for hiking and exploring. During the winter, we’re just a short drive from some of the best ski resorts and snowmobile trails in New England. We enjoy watching the landscape change with the seasons, and there’s something magical about the crisp mountain air in the fall or the snow-covered views in the winter.
Our home is not just a getaway — it’s a place that feels like a true retreat from the busy world. We want to share this special spot with others, and invite you to experience the magic of the Saco River and the White Mountains, just as we do with our family.
What makes this property unique
What makes our property truly unique is its perfect blend of peaceful riverside living and year-round adventure. Nestled right on the banks of the Saco River, it offers direct access to the water, making it a rare find for anyone who loves outdoor activities. Whether you're kayaking, tubing, or fishing, the river is right at your doorstep, offering a level of convenience and serenity that's hard to find anywhere else.
In addition to the prime riverfront location, the home itself has been thoughtfully renovated to create an inviting, open-concept space that combines modern comfort with rustic charm. It’s the ideal place to unwind after a day of adventure, with spacious living areas, a cozy fireplace, and large windows that let you take in the natural beauty of your surroundings.
What really sets this property apart is its versatility across seasons. In summer, you have the river for swimming and kayaking, and the back deck is perfect for relaxing or hosting family barbecues. Come winter, the property is just minutes from top ski resorts and snowmobile trails, offering endless outdoor opportunities. And let’s not forget the breathtaking fall foliage that surrounds the area, creating a postcard-perfect scene every year.
Our home isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a retreat that offers the best of both worlds: peaceful riverside relaxation and an outdoor playground, all just a short drive from North Conway's vibrant downtown.
