Great hotel excellent location. Views were amazing. Great communication from Lani. Room had everything we needed down to umbrella and chairs for the beach. Will defiantly be coming back to stay.

Clean and very simple unit. 2 of the 3 elevators worked. Busy time of year so busy elevators. Laundry on the 3rd floor, bring your quarters. Soap was available for purchase. AC unit in the sitting area (we only used it at night) but fans for both rooms. 5 minutes away from the beach, surrounded by ABC stores, several meal options below and a Target about 10 minute walk away.

Terrific view

Our stay was great, the location was very central and had an awesome view. I have stayed at the Pacific Monarch a number of times and love the hotel. The staff is very friendly.

Had a great experience at this Pacific Monarch PH Suite

I wanted to make my daughter’s first trip to Honolulu a special one! This apartment overlooks both the city of Waikiki and the ocean. The room was clean and had all the amenities one could ask for on a beach vacation (beach chairs, towels, umbrella, etc). Lani was wonderful to work with, and made the check in process a breeze. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views

The property was a little dated, but had a beautiful view of the mountains and you could see a partial view of the ocean.the room was very clean and Lani was easy to reach. Check in was easy. We would definitely recommend staying there and hope to come back again.

Excellent location and fantastic views!

The condo was as described and perfect for our vacation! The view from the deck was even better than expected, beautiful sunsets and ocean view. The kitchen was well stocked and the condo was clean. The unit is dated but was clean and comfortable. Would recommend and hope to be back again!

Great location. Host was accommodating with our request for a 3rd beach chair and towel. Clean place and well equipped. A/C needs some figuring out by placing fans adequately for air flow.

The Pacific Monarch is in a great location. The unit had a great view. Lani, the host, was easy to contact and very helpful. I do not hesitate to recommend this listing.

Very close to Waikiki beach.

It was very close to Waikiki beach which was really nice. The place was clean and had a nice view off of the balcony. The couch was a little uncomfortable as it was also a sleeper bed. I wish there would have been a TV in the bedroom but we really didn't spend a lot of time in the room. The pool area was nice and not over crowded and the sauna was always empty. Lani was very helpful and easy to work with.

Awesome stay

I recommend this place. We stayed a month and it was central to everything. We rented a car and the process was easy to get parking. Lani helped us quickly and efficiently. Only one thing that was a little scary was when the wind was really high since you are in the 32nd floor. However the view is beautiful, the daily visits of the pigeons and any type of food you want close by are priceless. Thank you Lani for everything

Location & View with Rainbows

Perfect for our needs. Comfortable, clean and friendly staff. Lani responded immediately to questions. We were there for a wedding nearby and it was a short 5 minute walk. Shopping, beach, restaurants and zoo right there. Watched surfing competition from roof top pool area. Waves were crazy big. Checks all the boxes. We saw several rainbows from the balcony. It’s all about the view and location

I read the other reviews before I booked and they were right! We spent most of our time there out on the lanai . The views were fantastic. It’s a penthouse corner suite! We walked to Walmart to pick up our supplies and ubered back. Everything you need is nearby. Spent days at beach and late afternoons at the pool. BBQ’s up on the roof, moped rental right around the corner , food truck’s restaurants.. I could go on and on! Yes, it’s dated but nice and you are in a city so don’t be looking for absolute peace and quiet. We would stay again without question. Thank you it was wonderful!

Great Location & Pool

This was a fantastic place to find on the Penthouse floor with a great view!! Lani, the property owner was very supportive and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen worked very well. Just watch out for your hat or glasses on the balcony. Such a breath taking view of the Ocean. However, if the wind picks up, make sure you have everything button downed. The one recommendation I would have for the property manager is to have more of an instruction book at the property that includes how to manage the TV and internet and other appliances. That would be awesome. We were very happy with this location and the overall experience with the rental and our vacation. Thank you!!

Almost Touching the Clouds at Pacific Monarch

Located on the top floor of Pacific Monarch (literally clouds were within reach ,it rained every night) the condo is neat cozy and welcoming (the lady at the front desk was also welcoming, and friendly), there were pigeons on the lanai to greet us and they did not seem to mind our presence, we joined them to take in the view of the city, the waves of the ocean on one side and the green Manoa hills on the other side. Step outside and no matter what direction you go a lively city surrounds you, parks, zoo, shops, sandy beaches, live music, restaurants, fireworks on Friday, a short drive away takes you to Manoa trailheads should you choose to get out of the city. Lani was an excellent host, provided info and detailed directions making the check in (and out) process simple. Mahalo for allowing us to feel at home in your home! Adina L

Paradise

What a great place to stay. Pacific Monarch was only 2 short blocks from the beach. This condo was located on the 32nd floor (Penthouse) and the views were wonderful. The place was clean and had a full sized kitchen (hard to find), large bedroom with ceiling fan, large lanai (for morning coffee) and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Close to pretty much everything, we walked, took the bus (bus stop was across the street) and rented a Turo car for a few days (for our Kualoa Ranch tour). Little touches such as beach towels, umbrellas, a bag of Hawaiian coffee and box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts were so appreciated.The property manager, Lani was very responsive and communicated quickly for every question we had. I highly recommend this place or any place that Lani manages as she was such a professional. Our next trip back will have us booking with one of her properties. What a great 10 days in Paradise.

Great views but it’s dated.

Older building and our unit could use some updates . Had to call about the tub faucet that was almost impossible to operate, and a handyman was dispatched to fix the issue. Hard to believe no one else before us ( or even the cleaner) experienced or reported this. Safe needed batteries, and the AC remote probably did as well as it didn’t work. Too bad things aren’t checked before new tenants arrive. Could use a few more kitchen utensils ie strainer, kettle, smaller paring knife etc. but I suppose not all people do much cooking at home. I had asked before arriving if there were salt,pepper etc and was told yes, but there was nothing at all. All in all had fantastic views but was not told before hand the rooftop pool would not be open …may have changed our minds if we had known before cancellation deadline.

Conveniently located & fantastic views

My wife and I stayed here for a reunion with friends and the second leg of our honeymoon. It was very easy to book and Lani was prompt at responding to any and all messages. The check-in process was super simple and straight forward. The condo is as described. Being on the top floor meant it was quiet relative to the rest of the area. It could use some slight updates but everything seemed to be well maintained and we knew what we were getting so no complaints there. It is only about a 5 minute walk, just 2 blocks from Waikiki beach. It is also close to all the main restaurants in the area if you plan to walk around in the evening. There is only a window AC unit but there is a fan in the bedroom along with an additional portable tower fan unit which was plenty to keep the whole condo cool enough. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. I did also appreciate the fact that Lani was open to accommodating a later checkout when asked. We did not need to do this during our stay as we just stayed with our friends prior to our evening flight but the flexibility is nice. We would stay here again. Mahalo Lani!
