Great place! Lots to do for kids, tons of room, great location (an adventurousdrive way for sure). The instructions on how to get there were spot on! Only issue we had was online listing said Paradise Valley had a hot tub. Even the booklet left for visitors and the lamented pamphlet on the fridge said something about a hot tub. We were excited for one so a little let down but everything else was amazing!
We had a great time visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. We went site seeing the day of check in. The next day we took a train ride & then we had a bon fire by the creek, played some pool, pin pone & also played some fused ball! We really enjoyed staying here & will definitely be back qhen we come up this way again. Thank you for everything.
Paradise Valley was amazing. It had everything we could think of to make our trip great. The house was very clean, open and homey. We loved sitting out at the fire ring by the creek at night and then going in to play pool or ping pong and relaxing. We will definitely be requesting this house again.
The management was very responsive and rented immediately to any needs, however there were things that i wouldn't all for because it's not something that can be easily fixed. The whole cabin needs a makeover: the furniture outside is so old and filthy that it made you not want to sit on it; the stumps by the fire pit are all rotted and definitely not comfortable to sit on; dishwasher is nasty moldy and didn't wash the grease off of the silverware to where i had to rewash everything by hand; there was no warning ahead of time about the very abrupt internet connection with them asking you not to do excessive streaming or downloading, and very slow water pressure (especially if you wanted to take a bath) and you're asked not to "waste water", so is taking a bath "wasting water"? The pool table is very cheap, with cheap balls, and the whole table being slanted with the rest of the house; ping pong table is also old and worn out, with not a single decent paddle which still had all rubber pad still in tact. And the worst of all were the overly soft and unsupported where my husband and i have been waking up with locked up backs every day, which made it difficult to enjoy all the hiking and walking. We had a great time, but it was despite the house.
This was a pretty cool place. The river beside the property was absolutely tranquil. Enjoyed sitting by the fire pit laughing with friends with the sound if water in the back ground. While staying there, a hurricane passed by and it was nice have a pool table, ping pong table and covered porch to pass the time. Would recommend one thing. Add a 4x4 or something to the bridge to let you know of you get to close to edge. Besides that, place was awesome. Would definitely plan a trip there again.
