"Knotty Knoll" log cabin is nestled on 3+ acres.. The cabin is secluded, yet only 5 minutes to Downtown Bryson City.
Surrounded by mature trees and beautiful foliage, the atmosphere is peaceful, quiet, with fantastic views of the mountains and forest.
The well maintained private road will lead you to Knotty Knoll. The paved driveway is in excellent condition and easily accessible year-round...no need for 4WD. Ice melt is provided in case of ice on the driveway or stairs during the winter months.
Knotty Knoll is one of VRBO's most popular cabins in Bryson City and has maintained a 5 Star rating for over 20 years.
The open floor plan features vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and a wood burning fireplace faced with local creek stones. Dry split firewood is provided for an optional $25 fee. Please provide your own kindling.
The cabin features 2 bedrooms.. one with a king size bed and the other with a queen size bed. The spacious loft has 2 additional twin size beds along with a full bathroom.
The main floor full bathroom features a clawfoot tub/shower.
The loft full bathroom features a shower.
Liquid hand soap is provided as well as travel-size shampoo and conditioner.
The living room offers a comfortable sectional sofa that seats 4 and a cushioned rocker. The dining room table will accommodate 6. The upstairs loft provides additional space for children and adults, 2 twin beds, a small game table with 2 chairs, and a relaxing easy chair.
The kitchen is well equipped with updated appliances, microwave, pots and pans, utensils, blender, electric mixer, crock pot, 4-slice toaster, and coffee makers (espresso, regular, and Keurig). Dish detergent and paper towels provided.
The game room with a half bath is accessible only from the garage/basement. It features a pool/billiard table, wet bar, flat screen TV, and surround sound system.
Enjoy beautiful views from the large covered porch that is outfitted with rockers, porch swing, and ceiling fans.
The backyard provides the perfect space to hang out near the fire pit or soak in the clean hot tub while taking in the awesome views! A picnic table and Adirondack chairs are provided as well as additional camping chairs that are stored in the garage. There is a park-style charcoal grill available and is covered for your convenience.
The full size washer and dryer are located in the garage/basement.
Knotty Knoll is a motorcycle friendly destination. The driveway is not too steep for an experienced rider. Travelling with a small trailer? We can accommodate. Please contact us for available options. The garage will accommodate up to 4 motorcycles.
The Cabin's climate is controlled by a central heat and air system.
Unlimited internet and WIFI, flat screen TV's in the living room, king bedroom, and game room. DVD player with great selection of movies, books, and games for adults and children.
Knotty Knoll is close to all the great outdoor activities the area has to offer. Fishing, whitewater rafting, tubing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, zip-lining, and mountain biking.
Explore the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Deep Creek Recreation Area, and the Road to Nowhere. Fontana Lake and dam is within 20 minutes, Harrah's Casino in Cherokee is nearby. Asheville and the nearest airport are 1 hour away. Gatlinburg is an hour and 15 minutes. You can even golf in nearby Whittier!
