Walk to Sun Valley Ski Area-River Run & Downtown - Fireplace, Hot Tub

The perfect location! Ski-in/ski-out to the Sun Valley Resort (River Run) and walk a short distance to the town center of Ketchum for dining, shopping, and nightlife.

This beautifully decorated condominium has 3 bedrooms. The main level has the master bedroom with queen bed, HD TV, and DVD player. There is a full bathroom with large shower.

Upstairs has 2 bedrooms and full bathroom with large shower. One bedroom has a queen bed and deck looking out to the ski area. The other bedroom has 2 twin beds, HD TV, and DVD player. You access the upstairs with a spiral staircase.

The living room has a gas fireplace, HD TV with DVD player, and deck. There is a bistro table on the main floor deck and Adirondack chairs on the upstairs deck -- both with views of Baldy.

The kitchen and bathrooms have been completely remodeled (there are no bath tubs).

The hot tub for the complex is just steps away. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit.

This is a second-story unit with open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, and lots of light with views of the ski mountain.

NOTES:
• This is a non-smoking condo.
• Sorry, no pets.
• This is a 2nd floor condo with no elevator, and two bedrooms are up a spiral staircase.
• There is no central air conditioning, but there is one window air conditioner upstairs, a number of fans, and it cools down at night.
• BBQ Grills of any kind are NOT allowed in the condo complex.

Great stay–only qualm was that there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathrooms so we had to go out and buy some. The apartment is small but cosy and otherwise well appointed. The host was also very friendly and responsive.

We found the winding staircase to be very difficult to maneuver. Carrying luggage up to the 2nd floor apartment and then dragging luggage upstairs to the bedroom was a real hassle. The upstairs rooms are very small with no place to unpack. One room had no ventilation with the window nailed shut There was no air conditioning It really needs updating. However, the location was nice.

Thanks for the feedback! We try to be very clear about the spiral staircase in the description, correspondence, and photos so that people know what they are booking. We had just taken the air conditioners out since it cools down dramatically in September. Maybe our timing was off…. No windows are nailed shut. We will get the maintenance folks to check if it is stuck. There are lots of luggage racks in the condo to assist with unpacking. The closet in the twin room is large for storing extra bags.

The property was well equipped for our families of 6. The beds were comfortable there were lots of towels. The hot tub / jacuzzi is great. The host responded quickly to small issue. I would highly recommend this rental unit we were here in the summer when it was easy to walk to everything.

Robin was a very responsive and helpful host. Her condo was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals and there were plenty of bath towels. Walking distance to town and a quick easy bus ride to the slopes. Clean hot tub and cozy gas fireplace. Highly recommend renting this condo for your Sun Valley visit.

Robin was a wonderful host. There was an issue during check in, and she quickly resolved it. The location was perfect. It was either a 10-minute walk to the base of River Run or a 1-minute ride on the free shuttle.
