Whitfield park with a playground and grills and restrooms is close enough to walk to.

This was the best vacation rental ever. Everyone loved the house. Was in a great neighborhood. There was plenty of rooms and beds. Very spacious, homey and comfortable. This VRBO supplies just about everything you would need, just bring food. They even have plenty of pots and pans for cooking, all the utensils needed. We were so surprised at everything that was available to use. Even tons of games, beach chairs and umbrellas. The hosts were great, they checked in to see if we should need anything, they even offered tecommendations for things to do. Would 100% recommend and stay at this rental again. Was totally worth every cent.

Weekend wedding

The house perfectly fit our needs. It was large with plenty of room for sleeping, relaxing, or visiting. The outdoor patio/ lanai area provided both shade and sun and the pool was a definite plus. Lots of toys, books, and games to keep kids busy. Location was close to the venue and downtown.

Baseball and Beaches

We chose this property because of it’s location for our family trip. Half of us had tickets for the Rays which was an easy drive and the other half had a wonderful selection of beaches. Property was comfortable and we enjoyed the poolside dining as well as lots of card playing in the dining room. Would stay again.

Nice spacious house not far from everything we wanted.

A big and well kept house. Extremely capable and pleasant management. Excellent location if you want to enjoy cultural life of Sarasota but not to stay in the busiest and less safe downtown areas. Not close to beaches, but this is not what we were after.

Big house!

This house is much bigger than it appears in the pictures! It fit our big family very well. The bathrooms and kitchen could use some upgrades, but nonetheless we enjoyed our stay. The pool deck area was beautiful and very large!

Overall we were all pleased with the house. One suggestion. Everyone said that the pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Also, one of the sprinkler heads in the front yard was broken and the water sprayed directly onto the front door. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

Excellent spacious house

House was as advertised, spacious rooms, clean, plenty of room and excellent layout. Pool was clean and perfect temperature. Amazing to have a screened area to relax with bbq, tables and tv inside and outside. A true retreat. Only things I wish were different were trivial: Wish there was a four slot toaster lol, difficult for breakfast with 8 people. Secondly, ad does not mention the loud plane noise overhead. This only occurs during the day, so not bothersome for sleeping.

Great experience!

The thing I loved most about this home was the layout of the house. Most of the bedrooms were far away from each other allowing some good quiet time. The property was clean and nice. The pool space added an entirely new dimension and living area for us to hang out in. The kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with the property owner was efficient and in a timely manner. Little things that could have been better include: a broken shower head in one of the master bedrooms that didn't work and low water pressure with the showers and maintaining the appearance of the lawn in the front and back yard. Again, not really things that ruined the experience, just things that could be better next time we visit. Overall, it was a lot of fun and worth it.

A good house with plenty of room and relaxing outdoor space

The house is very nice, spacious and well appointed. Bedrooms were as advertised. Good layout provides for multiple couples having their own space. I DO RECOMMEND this property, but will point out a couple of challenges below. The property, despite being in a residential neighborhood, is on a street that passes through between two substantial roads, and is busy, with faster-than-should-be traffic. This is loud in the early morning hours. While the host was very responsive, I did have to ask for check-in information. After that, check-in was easy and the electronic lock was easy to operate. One of the sliding doors to the pool area would not lock. So the house was unlocked the whole time we were there. This is a substantial security issue that I don't expect in a rented home. Also, upon arrival, there were 6 or 7 windows unlocked, and another sliding door to the pool area unlocked. This did not inspire confidence in the security of the property. While the bathrooms were generally fine, the shower faucet knob in the hallway bath was broken. Thankfully we were able to repair it ourselves using a kitchen utensil. It would be useful to have a couple basic tools in the house. Early Monday morning, the pool guy came in the pool area, unannounced, without knocking, while we were in the area eating breakfast. This was unacceptable.

Why they chose this property

After visiting this area, we really appreciated the large lots and quiet neighborhoods of Whitfield Estates. The proximity to everything happening downtown, local beaches, and airports was a huge selling point as well.

What makes this property unique

This home has a big fenced yard and a large screened lanai that's perfect for lounging outside rain or shine. The pool is deep enough for all ages to enjoy.
