This 1920 Victorian home has been lovingly updated while maintaining her original coastal charm. Enjoy relaxing on the wrap around front porch or chillin' and grillin' in the back yard tropical courtyard heated pool and gas grill.
The 4 bedrooms sleep 8+ and is child friendly with bed rails, Pack and Play, stair gates and highchair. The main floor master suite features a king bed, 55" Smart TV/DVD player, en'suite bath with garden tub, shower room, water closet, twin vanities and walk in closet. The 'Island Room' has a Queen Size bed and sleeps two. The favorite 'Old Florida Room' has a queen bed, and the tranquil 'Garden Room' has one King bed. This room has an available twin bed that can be set up upon request. All with ample closet space. The upper level has a spacious bathroom with clawfoot tub and shower room. Of course, all linens and towels are furnished.
When it is time to come in from play, you will enjoy the comfort of the living room with it's oversized furnishings and 55"high def. Smart TV and DVD player. The extra-long sofa converts to twin bed. Direct TV and wireless high-speed internet are provided.
There is plenty of room for dining in the formal dining room with a table that seats 10. Of course, you will fall in love with the large kitchen and the French doors that open to the back courtyard pool. Everything you need is ready for you including stainless appliances, island bar seating and table that seats 4. Off the kitchen is a laundry room for those sandy suits and towels. Off the dining room is a powder room.
There are beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and coolers for your use should you take in the beach - a MUST as you are only 8 miles to Anna Maria Island. Plus, you are within walking distance to Old Main St. with shops, street market, restaurants and bars. And of course, you are at the start of The Riverwalk that features parks, restaurants, biking, museum/aquarium, piers and 2 mile trail along the river. Do not miss shopping and dining at the Village of Arts.

We grew up in Minnesota and moved to Sunny Florida in 1990. We love boating and spend a lot of time cruising on "A New Hattitude", our 53' Hatteras when our homes are booked. After living on our boat in the FL Keys for 8 years we are very happy to be back in the area full time and are able to recommend/ suggest things to make your stay more fulfilling. Thankfully most of our 4 children and 5 grandchildren are close by so we have good back up for our guests should we be traveling.

This is a 5bd./4 1/2ba. 3100 sq. ft. home right on the Manatee River with dockage for 2 boats. This home features a living room home theater, family room with French door opening to the river, a fountain, tiki hut and pool. There is also an outdoor kitchen. The magnificent kitchen overlooking the river is well appointed and equipped for large groups. On top of all this is a 2nd floor pool/game room with bar and balcony overlooking the river. So check this out if you need a larger home or would just like to be on the water.

Of course it has the charm and Victorian beauty we have always wanted to own. We really want to give vacationers a great experience with this historical and luxurious property. A taste of Olde Florida you could say with the wrap around front porch, historic paver pool deck and tropical antiques and decor. Plus, you cannot beat this peaceful and quiet area that is still close to The Riverwalk and Old Main St. just 2 blocks away.

What makes this property unique
The location alone is the best with this property. Everything is really close for the guests to enjoy, restaurants, bars, live music, theater, galleries, shopping, water sports, beach, etc. As it is one of our homes, it has everything your home would have so it is more like going to visit Mom or Grandma than staying in a vacation rental.
