Cozy Lake View Home with Beautiful Sunsets

Enjoy your stay with us at Sunsets on Tonka! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay, 3 bedroom 2 bathroom newly refreshed fully furnished short or long term rental with private dock access. Large backyard has an outdoor dining area with firepit and gas grill. Spectacular sunsets from the front deck that overlook Halsted's Bay, dock is across the street. Close to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. Great for winter and summer activities as Lake Minnetonka Regional Park, the Arboretum and Gale Woods Farm is just minutes away.

The home was extensively remodeled with fresh paint, new furniture, fresh linens, towels and smart TV's throughout. Fully stocked kitchen from toaster, blender even a pie pan. The dock can accommodate up to a 28 foot boat. **If you plan on using the property along with the dock for your boat, you will need to reach out to me with a description of your boat so I can make sure that it will fit. I cannot guarantee water levels so I will need to know more info if you plan on using the dock for your boat.
If you need to rent a boat, I can refer you. You will have a garage if you would like to store any of your lake gear.

We have plenty of indoor and outdoor games and canoe if you just want to paddle around the bay.

*This property is a duplex and I own both sides. We do not use the backyard when we have guests so it is yours to enjoy.

Family fishing trip

We had a great trip and the accommodations were outstanding!Lance and Jenny were super responsive and even allowed us to come into town a day early for a great price. I cannot recommend a better place to stay. It was exactly what we were looking for!

Great property! Owners were so easy to communicate with and had the house staged perfectly. The had coffee and syrups on hand ready for us (a great little touch). House has a very private backyard with firepit and great internet for all of the kids devices. If we head back to Minneapolis, we will stay again! :)

Very nice place

I can see why this place received high marks. A real home away from home with a lake view. Fit all our needs for a family visit over a long weekend. We now have a place we know we can rent again on our next visit to MN. Host was great with communication as well. Always responded relatively quick when we had a question or concern. Hope all our future stays in a VRBO are this good with this one being our first.

Condo stay by Lake Minnetonka

Second stay at beautiful condo. Awesome view of lake from living room. Carver Park Reseve just minutes away where we saw amazing Sedge Wren, Bobolink and Henslow Sparrow! Used grill a few times which nice and handy. Jenny and Lance are friendly and available if needed. Will definitely return next year!

The owner responded immediately to my questions prior to renting. We arrived later on our first night, and found some breakfast items there for us. They checked on us to make sure we were ok after we got 12 inches of snow, and let us know they had someone coming to remove it. Highly recommend this property for family/group stays. Very clean and comfortable.

Greatly enjoyed our stat. Very clean and comfortable. The view was beautiful. The hosts were also fabulous with lots of special touches ( snacks, bottled water, starter wood for the fire pit, detergent and more) clearly they have attention to detail and take pride in their property.Communication was thorough and check is was easy. Plenty of things to do within a short drive. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely place on Halstead’s Bay, MN.

Lovely, spacious duplex overlooks Halstead’s Bay. Owners are very kind and attentive. Great decks in front and back that we enjoyed during the awesome weather that we had during our stay. The home is beautifully decorated and up-to-date. We enjoyed birdwatching from their decks. Carver Park is nearby and has miles of hiking and biking trails (that have plenty of bird species to be seen.) There are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. We will definitely like to stay again sometime. Thanks Jenny & Lance !

The owners Lance and Jenny are fantastic and have done a great job with their property. They provided so many personal touches that we all appreciated and provided great opportunities for enjoying the outdoors such as their fire pit, badminton or volleyball, access to their dock, the list goes on. We look forward to staying there again next year.

Perfect retreat

This property is located across the lake with amazing views of the sunset. Everything is clean and new, the beds and the bedding were comfortable and cozy. There were thoughtful touches throughout, keurigs and goodies for the kids were provided when we arrived, cozy throw blankets, and a well equipped kitchen were all nice touches that elevated the experience. I can't wait to stay here again next summer when we visit family and friends.

This place is was amazing , communication was excellent, we traveled for Christmas and also my daughter birthday and had an amazing stay , communication was great she also gave us a list of activities to do while there , she left little Christmas goodie bags for the kids that’s they loved , u don’t need to travel with anything but your clothes and food they have everything covered from the smallest things to the bigger ones , games for the kiddos and Netflix also , I definitely recommend this place to stay , my kids want to comeback for the summer and check out the lake activities , so we will definitely be back,

This property is a great opportunity to stay and boat on Lake Minnetonka, one of Minnesota's Premier lakes. Lake Minnetonka is a lake located approximately 15 miles west-southwest of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Today Lake Minnetonka is a collection of 16 interconnecting lakes with about 23 named bays and areas. The lake lies within Hennepin and Carver counties and is surrounded by 13 incorporated municipalities. At 14,528 acres (5,879 ha), it is Minnesota's ninth largest lake and is popular among boaters, sailors, and fishermen.
