Located in western Aveyron, in the heart of the Ségala region, our little house—well, 100 m² on two levels—will effortlessly charm you with its character, recent renovation, and the attention we've paid to its decor. Offering all modern comforts within its old stone walls, this former barn and stable has been reborn as a charming home, perfect for a few days, especially if you're seeking peace, quiet, and tranquility, a welcome escape from the madness of the world that seems to surround us. You reach the upper level via a gentle slope leading to a 25 m² wooden terrace overlooking a meadow surrounded by trees, with a distant view towards the Lévézou hills. From there, you enter the open-plan living area, combining a lounge and kitchen, a bright and airy space for living and relaxing. Fully equipped kitchen (oven, toaster, microwave, espresso and filter coffee makers, kettle, refrigerator, but no washing machine or dishwasher) The living room has two comfortable armchairs, a sofa that can be used as an extra bed for children, and another small reading chair to curl up in by the wood-burning stove, if needed. A few books and CDs are available for listening on the small stereo system. The wooden staircase leads to the two bedrooms, each with a pull-out bed for storing clothes, although a clothes rack is also available for coats and other items. A small vestibule provides space for your bags and suitcases, leading to the bathroom where you'll find a shower, sinks, and a toilet. In short, see it all in the photos... A barbecue is available if needed, and there are sun loungers for the upper or lower terrace. The village, less than 3 kilometres away, offers all essential shops and services (supermarket, butchers, pastry shops, bakeries, cafes/restaurants, pizzerias, pharmacy, newsagent/tobacconist/lottery/betting shop). Doctors and nursing offices, of course. Swimming pool, sports field, tennis, pétanque court, fishing, etc... A Cultural Centre with its exhibitions, a cinema with several screenings of recent films per week. To the east, Rodez, 35 km away; To the west, 20 km from Villefranche-de-Rouergue. Paths and trails abound, inviting you to discover the wonderful panoramas of the "Land of a Hundred Valleys". We're nearby and will be happy to assist you and ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible while respecting your privacy.
