We had a wonderful stay! We booked last minute as our other accommodations didn't meet expectations. The Loft was clean and Laura was very welcoming. It met our needs with the kitchen and bathroom. The location was perfect as we watched a storm come in off the lake. We were able to walk to many places downtown and explore winter activities like curling and snowshoeing. Hope to return some day.
Loved our stay at the loft! Very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Walkable location to almost anywhere you want to go and a short drive to campus. Host was very responsive. We would love to stay here again in warmer months to make use of the patio overlooking the lake.
This was a perfect rental from start to finish! The loft is in a perfect location, walkable to restaurants and shops downtown, plus the amazing waterfront by the Ore Dock.
Laura has put so many personal touches to the rental, the kitchen had everything you would need, the couches, beds, shower, lighting - it's all comfortable and well-thought out.
Even though you are in the middle of it all, the loft is very quiet and private. We hope to stay again some time when visiting our NMU Wildcat!
We had a phenomenal week in the loft! Laura was very very responsive and easy to communicate with before and during our stay. The loft kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and to make homemade food for our NMU college freshman and her friends! But the location was perfect for us. We watched winter sunrises over Lake Superior beside the Ore Dock every clear morning. It was perfect!
We came for our son’s college football game at NMU and decided to make a week vacation out of it. Little did we know it would be one of the most memorable great vacations we’ve ever had…here’s why:
-Awesome bike trails, the trail entry is right across the street.
-Full kitchen stocked with everything for cooking.
-Netflix shows every night.
-Beds and sheets sooo comfortable.
-Gift shops; Blackbird, Snowbound Books, Spice/Tea shop, Amelia’s Crafts, etc…
-Coffee outside on the patio with gorgeous harbor view.
-Paved walking trails everywhere.
-Presque Isle Park, wow, just wow!
We were so glad we invested a little extra on the price of this place for its location..
Thank you again to the owner for sharing this slice of heaven! Excellent!
Ideal location. Incredibly clean. Lots of extras in the already well stocked kitchen.
Really appreciate the communication and support during our stay.
We walked, we skied and hiked and checked out several local establishments- all within a short walk or drive. Already looking forward to coming back!
