Family Vacation

Great time with family. The accommodations were as wonderful as advertised. I would however, caution older folks to be aware that it’s a long and steep trail to the dock but well worth the trip.

Thanksgiving weekend spent with family who own a home nearby.

Hilltop was the perfect place for our getaway. We were able to invite our previous neighbors from FL who now live in Hayesville,NC to join us. We were familiar with the area as our family members own a home in the neighborhood. The home was well stocked with cooking supplies and very spacious and cozy.

This home is superb for a lakefront getaway for families! We had six of us staying in the home along with our pet dog - there was more than enough room for us to sleep and relax comfortably. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and lounge areas were exceptionally clean. The kitchen was perfect for cooking all of our meals - with plenty of cookware, serving items, and space to prep. The screened porch was our absolute favorite space to hang out and eat dinner overlooking Lake James. Would highly recommend and will likely return to the same property in the future!
