Charming little house in the heart of a typical Thomery garden, surrounded by ancient walls ensuring peace and tranquility. This is an outbuilding (approximately 35m²) at the rear of the main house, which we rent out when we are away during the summer. The house consists, on the first floor, of a bright living room with an open-plan kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs, there is a small bedroom area with a pull-out bed (80x200 or 160x200 cm) perfect for one or two children, and a bedroom with a double bed (160x200 cm) and French doors opening onto the greenery. Please note that access to the upper floor is via a spiral staircase which may be difficult for elderly people and young children. The cottage has been completely renovated and redecorated. The garden is fully walled and secure. Bed linen and towels are provided. On the first floor, there is a living area with a sofa bed. Thomery is a quiet and bucolic village with a long tradition and historical past of grape cultivation. Traces of this can be seen in the many small paths lined with vineyard walls. You will have plenty of time to recharge, reconnect with the energy of the nearby forest and the Seine River below the village. The village is quite spread out, and shops are located in the lower part of the village; it is recommended to have a means of transport, such as a car or bicycle. Bakery, pharmacy, restaurant, and supermarket with a laundromat are available in the village.
