Spectacular private 92 foot long (x 3-1/2 to 5 ft deep) infinity edge pool overlooking the 15th hole of the Mauna Lani North Golf Course, along with a 12 person hot tub that waterfalls into the pool below. This is truly one of the nicest pools on the Big Island, wrapping around the lava hillside. A large covered outdoor lani area has a Wolf propane BBQ,a sitting bar, two refrigerator drawers, HD Spectrum TV Service and lanai dining table with chairs centered between the koi pond and swimming pool. The courtyard has a tropical waterfall that cascades into a 28 foot circular canaled Koi Pond surrounded by the tropical beauty of a Hawaiian landscaped garden.

While in the small gated community of Champion Ridge located in the beautiful 5-star Resort of the Mauna Lani, this house is situated to give you privacy while enjoying Hawaii in it's most luxurious splendor. You will find yourself in awe of the white sand beach cove at the Mauna Lani with its excellent diversity of colorful fish to view while snorkeling, or making sand castles on the beach, swimming in the warm waters, paddle boarding or just sun bathing.

Sign up for excursions, enjoy the two highly ranked golf courses the resort has to offer, play tennis, work out at the fitness facility, relax and pamper yourself at the Mauna Lani Spa, take walks throughout the resort or visit the many beaches close by. Take a helicopter ride and view the volcano. Rent a golf cart for your stay. Rent "baby" items or see Snorkel Bob's at the Mauna Lani Shops

This home offers four bedrooms, each with a King Sized bed. The master is a bungalow all to itself while another two bedrooms are connected in their own bungalow styled building and the last bedroom is in the main house. Each bedroom has its own bathroom suite while the master has an enlarged shower and jetted bathtub. Each bedroom has access to Spectrum TV Service while 3 also have DVD players. A theater/media room was updated October 2015 with a new Samsung 78" 4K HD Curved TV, surround sound, High Definition Spectrum TV Service, Blu-Ray Disc Player, Xbox One, Wii and Radio Receiver. A 63' Plasma TV was also added to living room, also with High Definition, Blu-Ray Disc player, Ipod Docking station, Radio Receiver. Volume for Speakers throughout outside lanai and BBQ area can be controlled with remote.

There are airbeds with linens if additional sleeping space is required. There's an outdoor shower next to the pool for rinsing before and/or after swimming. There are also games to keep you busy, and an herb garden and fruit trees in the community courtyard.

This is not the place for those looking for loud parties for vacation, but rather those who love their privacy and know how to enjoy the beauty and splendor of Hawaii.

Beautiful well maintained property

A nice open floor plan house in which we were able to utilize private space for our kids and their children and wonderful open place where we could all spend time together. Great house instructions and wonderful property management support. Nice beach access with good snorkeling so close was a nice plus. The only bummer was we had to come home.

Uniquely Special Home in an Amazing Location

Beautiful house in an amazing location. We stayed for a week and could have easily not left the whole time. Well appointed, private & secure. The infinity edge pool with hot tub overlooking the golf course was a real treat. Ken was very patient in meeting us and going over the home. The owners were a pleasure to deal with as well. We highly suggest you open up the beautiful sliding doors each morning and enjoy the birds and weather that Hawaii is known for.

This is our second time staying here with our family, the last time being 5 years ago. The property is exactly how we remembered it. The grounds maintenance, pool maintenance, cleaning and general maintenance were impeccable added to the high end finishes, commercial grade appliances and extremely tasteful and comfortable decor and furniture make you feel like you are in a 5 star or above property and you have it all to yourself. Kim and her management team were so welcoming and accommodating we felt totally at home for a week.

Best Home in Mauna Lani!

WOW!!!!! This is our third year in a row staying in Mauna Lani and this is the best home we have ever stayed in! The hosts, Kim, Steve and Ken were so easy to communicate with. The home, was absolutely fabulous! Better than the pictures! Totally stocked from the kitchen to the pool and beach accessories and all other living spaces! The cabana area and the pool/spa made our stay even more fun! The view of the mountains and watching the golfers is a plus! The birds and the Koi were awesome to watch everyday! Our grands loved feeding the fish, and giving them names! The 3 pods were perfect for our kids and grandkids! Super clean and comfortable! We rented golf carts to get to Mauna Lani beach club, our favorite beach on the island! Thank you Favorite family for opening up your beautiful home to our family! We loved the welcome gift too! Absolutely fantastic!!

We had the pleasure of staying in your beautiful home for 7 days in March and cannot begin to thank you enough. The house is perfectly set up to accommodate a larger group. There were 8 adult in our group and each couple felt as though they had their own private space, not to mention spectacular common space. The gourmet kitchen, pool and outdoor bar area were perfect for gathering together and socializing. The house is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your vacation from beach towels and chairs to boogie boards and bikes. The house was immaculate when we arrived, the pictures cannot capture the beautiful views from this house, it is breathtaking. Communication with the owner was a breeze. Big Island Paradise

This home far exceeded our expectations! The pictures truly do not do it justice. We were greeted by Kenny upon our arrival who showed us around and explained all the details. A huge gift basket surprised us and was enjoyed by all. The home was very clean, very well stocked, and had everything we could possible want. For our family, the outdoor area was by far the biggest hit and we spent most of our time there. Pool/hot tub were very well treated. No chlorine smell and didn't dry out the ladies skin like other pools do. The pool temp was cool but still very much enjoyed by all. We loved the birds bathing and playing at the pool edge. The views from this home are breathtaking! Each bedroom and bathroom were better than expected (although the bathrooms could have brighter lighting). The owners were pleasant to work with and very responsive to questions. Cannot recommend this home enough!

Relax & Fun with Friends

We were celebrating my husband's retirement and invited close friends to join us. What a beautiful home with a lovely owners and responsive Caretaker, Kenny. I enjoy when others post the pro's and con's on VRBO. Pro: Everything thing you could need is there, from kitchen items to boogie boards, sand chairs, books, games etc. The view is gorgeous, from living area, master, pool and hot tub. Just wow. The guys loved the Theatre Room for football and having several TV's inside and out was fun. Watching the golfers play by on 16 from the pool and also playing the course at Mana Lani spectacular! The set up of the home for 4 couples was perfect everyone had their own bed/bath. Feeding the Koi fish daily was also a blast! Excellent amount of refrigeration and ice maker, wine cooler. Even Better Than Advertised

We stayed for 8 days in this amazing home. Upon arrival we were greeted by Kenny, the property caretaker, who explained how everything (pool, spa, AC, movie room, etc) worked. He was extremely helpful and kind, and even made himself available during our stay for any other question or concerns we had. The house itself was fantastic, and all of us felt transported by our stay there. Every need a vacationer might have was anticipated, down to a discount card for the local grocery store! Plenty of beach towels, beach umbrellas and chairs, and toys for the kids, an outstanding outdoor grill and kitchen area, and a appliances inside that made cooking a breeze. My daughter is still dreaming about the extra-large fridge. Plenty of cold drink drawers, inside the house and in the grill area. Inside cabinets were stuffed with adult and kid games, lots of brochures on attractions were available, and we loved coming together in the oversized living room in the main house in the evenings. We absolutely loved our time in this gorgeous home and we all left very reluctantly!

Perfect family getaway

Our family of 7 including 2 kids stayed here for about a week and a half and had a wonderful time. The house is even better in real life than the description. It was impressively clean and had pretty much everything you might expect in a rental. In particular the kitchen was very nicely stocked. There was a very nice fruit and local snacks spread when we arrived, along with some bottled water, lots of K-cup pods, spices, oils, kitchen tools, etc. The non-stick pans were even in great shape and there were some knives that were reasonably sharp (a first for us in vacation rentals). All of the appliances worked properly, including the BBQ grill. The pool and spa are probably the star of this show, and they did not disappoint. The crisp clear water of the pool made a great place to teach the kids how to snorkel and to observe the many different bird species that stop by to take a sip of water from the edge of the infinity pool. This is a great photography spot for birders. You also get a nice view of the golfers (and wild goats) that roam the golf course below. The house comes with access to the Mauna Lani beach club which is less than a mile away. We never had a problem finding a parking space and the beach was a good place for the kids and also had pretty good snorkeling close to shore. There are also several fishponds near the beach that let you see many different fish species without even getting wet. We also saw sea turtles resting on the rock wall a bit further North along the shoreline. The utility closet at the house had plenty of beach toys (umbrellas, boogie boards, chairs, a cooler, etc.) so we didn't need to worry about renting any beach equipment except snorkeling gear. The owner and property manager were very responsive to our questions and provided plenty of information ahead of time so we could be prepared ahead of time. The air conditioning units in the property can't go below 74 degrees F. If you want to stay in an icebox this might not be the place for you, but the ceiling fans in every room made it perfectly comfortable for us. Also, the house doesn't have a lot of inside lighting so some of the rooms are kind of dim at night. There might have been additional lamps we didn't find, but if you need a well lit space for crafting, work, etc. you might check with the owner first. Overall we had a great time here and hope to visit again.

Spectacular Property

I’ve been coming to the island of Hawaii for 25 years. Without question, this home was THE most amazing place I’ve stayed. That sentiment was echoed by the friends and family members who visited or stayed there with me. We were there for three weeks and enjoyed the pool, the BBQ area, the spa and the expansive grounds and floor plan. Lots of privacy for everyone. The owner is lovely. Perfect house for all different ages!

This was a well planned out trip for our family of 13. We rarely get everyone together because of locations and schedules. This was so awesome! And a lot of that is because of this property. The outside was beautiful. And we could see it from almost everywhere in the living room and kitchen. The full length windows opened up all the way so we could always enjoy the view of the huge infinity pool and hot tub and golf course beyond. We had so much privacy in our rooms, which is also very important. We did do some activities and went to a few beaches, but we were always so happy to come home to this beautiful place!

Absolute Heaven

Simply unbelievable...most likely one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Loved the indoor/outdoor living and view. Pool/hot tub combination was incredible and the teens/pre-teens used the theater room every night and a week-long game of Monopoly dominated one of the many gathering places. Feeding the koi fish was a daily ritual for the kids. The cabana felt like an oasis pwrfect for barbecueing while watching the Masters. Bedrooms were private and extremely comfortable. The electronics/music system were challenging but we figured it out - the property manager was awesome! We’d love to return again and again. Thank you, Kim and crew!

Absolute Heaven

Kim’s property is an amazing oasis and the quality of craftsmanship is top-notch. Walking in the door you know that you are in a home that is above the normal experience, and the pictures don’t do it justice. We had so much space to relax and recharge and spent many hours in the hot tub. And the kitchen, literally everything you could possibly need for any type of meal! The local Foodland had great lunch options. (Try the spicy ahi poke bowl and orange chicken), and the Beach Club access is really nice. The beach has great snorkeling and you can grab a beach lounger and a burger from Napua for lunch. I recommend stopping at Costco and Safeway on your way to the house for staples, because once you arrive you won’t want to leave. We picked up steaks and had a great time using the grill. Thank you Kim for a wonderful stay and great memories!

We built this house with aloha. Steve is a perfectionist and the house is built very tight and sturdy and has a warm feeling when entering. Everyone has said how much they feel at home while still being blown away by the beauty and privacy of it. These are what we were going for when we built the house.

Why they chose this property

We built here because it is on a lava hill overlooking the golf course and close to a beautiful beach cove. We feel like we have total privacy in a luxurious home built with aloha spirit. We feel very comfortable in the home while enjoying the beauty of Hawaii. It's a wonderful place to bring our families. The grandchildren just hate to leave and look forward to every visit they can make to the Big Island.

What makes this property unique

Gated Community and we're in the most private spot in the community. Large Koi pond in the courtyard that has walkways over it and everyone enjoy feeding the koi fish.
